Dr Scallon was just the best there is - clear and patient and extraordinarily competent and very friendly with patients - I miss my visits with him - He took very good care of me and my eyes

I had lasik done last week. The appointment was quick and recovery was quick like they stated. I had discomfort for couple hours but recovery was fast and results are amazing. Dr. Scallon was very professional and very respectful in the way he does his business. I’d refer anyone to Wolfe clinic and this procedure. Thanks.

Dr. Scallon was a great choice for my LASIK procedure. He took the time to explain every step of the process and was patient with me when I experienced anxiety during the procedure. At every appointment, Dr. Scallon was sure to pause and wait to see if I had any questions and was not dismissive about any questions/concerns I brought up. I have worn glasses since elementary school and now have 20/15 vision! Great success.

Dr. Scallon is the best in the business. I went to him for LASIK because my normal eye doctor recommended him and I couldn’t of been any happier. He was very thorough and explained everything very clearly to me before and during the procedure. I was a little nervous about getting LASIK but everything went smoothly and was completely painless. But most importantly I got perfect vision! I can’t recommend Dr. Scallon enough!

Dr. Scallon was very good as far as I could tell. This was my first experience with him. My cataract surgeries went well and all seems to be fine so far. He is extremely popular so you have to wait for awhile to get a visit with him, but eventually the time does come.

I recently had second eye cataract surgery and Toric lens placement with Dr. Scallon (the first cataract with intraocular lens placement elsewhere). The procedure was flawless and my vision is perfect other than presbyopia consistent with my advanced age. Dr. Scallon is personable and caring, as well as an excellent surgeon! I recommend him, his staff and their work and communication skills, and the outcome as definitely 5-star!

Louis J. Scallon, M.D., at the Wolfe Eye Clinic in Ames, Iowa, performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The Wolfe Eye Clinic was very professional, and the team that assisted Doctor Scallon with my eye examinations and measurements was excellent. Doctor Scallon was highly recommended by friends. He explained the procedure very well. The surgery far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Doctor Scallon at the Wolfe Eye Clinic to anyone considering cataract surgery!
