Excellent surgeon
Dr. P is the best !!! She is caring and sensitive to your needs. Excellent surgeon. The Healing is progressing much faster than expected due to her recommendations.

I was living a life of horror till I met Dr.Pelaez. I have a severe case of Crohns n had a lot of medical issues. Dr. P was amazing. I was scared of what was ahead of me n yet she held my hand through it all. She answered all of my questions n then some. She was very professional n knowledgeable of what was ahead of us. Not once have I called her n not gotten a fast return call..so much compassion shown from her. She truly is a blessing n knows what she’s doing. I can’t say enough great things about her. If you’re in need of surgery, I strongly suggest that you go to her. I promise you that you’ll not regret it! Thanks Dr P for giving me back my life??

My wife was in the hospital Hospitalist told her she needed to have surgery. Dr. Pelaez told her she didn't have insurance, she was out of luck and walked out of the room. Very unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Very Insensitive, although this surgeon may have the credentials, she certainly does not have the professional ethics. I waited almost two hours to see Dr. Lourdes Pelaez-Echevarria, only to have her tell me, that I weighed too much to have this surgery; and that the surgery would be pointless. I know that I am over weight; I just feel that as a professional, she could have been a little more sensitive as she delivered her diagnosis.
