won't refill Prescription
I saw Dr. Pho twice in 2023. Mainly to perform blood tests for my Cholesterol and Triglycerides meds. Now in 2024 I've had to change Insurance providers and need refills on one of my medications for triglycerides. Since Dr. Pho is not on my new insurance and blood tests are 6 months old, he refused to refill one med without new blood test. I've been taking this med for years with no negative effects. I contacted Dr Pho's office about filling this one prescrition but his admin refused and said he wouldn't refill without new blood tests.I've scheduled an appointment with a new Dr in March where new blood tests will be performed. I'm disappointed Dr Pho wouldn't refill one med before I see my new dr. This means I won't be taking this med for 2 weeks. I hope this doesn't negatively affect my health.

I have a difficult time understanding Dr Pho. His patient treatment plan and prescription dosages are unclear. Telemed is even more uncertain. I plan to meet at his office to see if he can better explain his plan and prescription dosages. 1) the dosage, means of administration, and planned duration of treatment (3) a plan for monitoring indicators of tolerance or reaction to low-THC cannabis.

I've been calling for 5 days and haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. Finally talked to someone 3 times today and they said that I would need to fill out paperwork before they could schedule me. Submitted paperwork to be told they "don't take my insurance" - I am on United Healthcare Choice Plus through All Savers and they show up on my plan as in network and accepting new patients.

Mismanaged Appointment Experience
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Dr. Juan office that I would like to share. I scheduled an appointment with their office, but upon arriving at the designated time, I discovered that they were closed. This unexpected closure left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. Firstly, I want to highlight the lack of communication from Dr. Juan’s office No prior notification or indication was given to me regarding the closure, which would have saved me time and effort. As a patient, I value clear and transparent communication, especially when it concerns important appointments. Furthermore, the closure of the doctor's office resulted in a significant waste of my time. I had rearranged my schedule and made necessary arrangements to attend the appointment, only to find the office locked and no staff present. This kind of mismanagement is highly disappointing and demonstrates a lack of professionalism my experience with Dr.Juan’s office was dee

One of the Best Doctors
Dr. Pho has been my doctor for several years, and he's one of the best doctors around. He listens, and he looks for the reasons behind the symptom(s). He will be honest and compassionate. He addresses my concerns, and carefully goes over my test results. His receptionist is very kind and helpful. I've only had to wait a couple of minutes to see him. He pays undivided attention his patient. It is because of my recommendation that other members of my family are his patients also.

First time seeing this Dr. Before he even asked any questions he started making comments about lifestyle. He never asked how I spent my day and my diet but was very quick to tell me I was all wrong. Left the office in tears as he wouldn't let me even defend myself. Was very quick to recommend marajuna.

First I would like to question the review that said they they waited an hour. Dr Pho never keeps you waiting more than a few minutes, he strictly follows his schedule but if you need additional time with him he doesn’t rush you. He is very thorough and may seem a little direct for some but you as a patient need to put in the work to get better. All of my family goes to him and are very pleased with his approach to health and wellness. He is very knowledgeable and listens to your concerns. I would recommend him to most people who are actively concerned about putting in the effort to listen and put in the effort themselves.

Absolutely horrible experience. Never saw the doctor. Was there over an hour and finally left after being put through the ringer by the front desk receptionist, who was only at her desk about 15 minutes out of the hour I was there. Would never recommend and would not go back. Select a doctor who values you and your time as much as their own.

When my regular internist retired, a decade ago, I tried half a dozen doctors over the next six years. I have MS so there are issues... constantly. Dr. Pho has changed my life for the better. You cannot do better than this doctor. Nutrition plays a critical part in staying healthy and this is a doctor that wants to see you get and stay healthy; not simply treat disease. I have been going to Dr. Pho for several years now, as does my wife, and I can tell you that he is whole heartedly reccommended

Dr. Pho was HORRIBLE to my Mother. She had a traumatic fall, had a concussion, spent 3 nights in the hospital. The hospital recommended home occupational therapy as well as physical therapy. She went in for an appointment. He told her if she could drive the car (the drive was 1.5 miles) she did not need any therapy; she was fine and there was no need for any follow-up therapy or treatment. He told her if she didn't like what he was saying that perhaps she needed to find another doctor.

Dr. Pho practices honest medicine. He is not quick to prescribe medication, especially when safer options are available. Not an assembly line approach to health care. He treats people as subjects rather than as objects.

The right approach of a Doctor should be to diagnose and treat the cause and not the symptom alone. Dr Luan Pho strictly follows this, and this is the best way to eliminate or minimise the recurrence of problem.

He is the best internal dr. Looking into root of a problem. And, if you belive you want to go integrative way, that is postpond the medicine and go alternative way let him know, he will support that. Of course if no serious illness occur and medication is required. So, he is will do blood work and any additional test to see your real condition.
