The absolute worst doctor I have ever seen. Strongly recommend that you select a different provider. He's rude, doesn't listen and gives the impression that he could care less you the patient.

IME feedback
I have never in my life had a worse experience with a Dr. He dismissed me and treated me like was a fool He asked questions unrelated to my condition. He berated me and brought me to tears in how he would not let me talk and cut me off and talked over me.He was a pompous, rude and demeaned my other healthcare providers and even laughed in my face when I tried to give him a report of how I have been feeling. I told him I was dizzy and he told me I was not dizzy but that it was lightheadedness. I would never recommend him or trust his opinion again

Pompous
My visit was an IME (Independent Medical Review) ordered by the insurance company. Dr. Margolies wasn't interested in my welfare or concerned about my injury. Dr. Margolies would ask a question only to cut off my response and attempt to convince me on how or what I shouldn't be feeling. Dr. Margolies was more interested in how and who recommended the doctors I was seeing for my injury.

Knows his stuff
I went to him for a very complicated condition during my childhood. I barely needed to explain anything. He understood and was able to help me. I think patients don’t understand that Dr M doesn’t need long, tedious explanations to understand what you need. He can figure out what is happening pretty instantly. If you go to this brilliant Dr, give the briefest explanation possible, and allow him to do his magic- and then get on with helping the other people who need him. If you need a psychologist to listen to your life story with your ailment, go to your psychologist. Also, if his first med doesn’t work, let him try a different one with you. My whole family have used his services at one point or another. We did not give long- winded explanations and we had significant results. Highly recommended.

Needs work ??
Dr. Margolies staff is pleasant and kind. If only he would take a lesson. He is impatient and has a poor bedside manner. He is impertinent in his questioning, and his demeanor lacks respect for the patient. Rather than assist the patient to work through a problem, he makes them feel ignorant, uninformed, and as though they are wasting his time. He does get the work done efficiently.

Extremely poor experience! I left multiple messages for the nurse as I needed to discuss my fathers condition prior to his appointment. I am authorized to speak on my fathers behalf. No one retuned my calls. Subsequently, I took my father to his scheduled appointment in Broomall. Upon arrival, we were told that Dr Margolies had to cancel and a VM message was left for my father only a few hours prior to the appointment. There was a message, however, my father has dementia and hearing issues. He never checked his phone. How does a neurologists office not understand their patients cognitive abilities? We will not be returning to Dr. Margolies. Cant we rate lower than one star?

I went to see Dr. Margolies 2 times. I would have happily gave him more stars but his attitude and patience makes it difficult to do that. I did not feel as though I was valued as a patient and I did not feel comfortable asking him questions because he gave off a vibe of "you are bothering me"

Didn't review my MRI images, just read the report, even after I told him that 3 other doctors found the report to be inaccurate. Didn't listen while I was describing symptoms, questioned symptoms, asked questions that didn't relate to my pain (like, why you saw this doctor? Who is this doctor? Why you have those symptoms?") He was very rude, sarcastic and unprofessional. He was questioning other doctors credentials. The worst doctor, I felt humiliated. I wish I could give him 0 stars.

I saw Dr. Margolies for a rare condition. He ordered a bunch of tests and then pretty much dismissed because he hadn't seen my symptoms before and the tests showed there was nothing wrong with me. He prescribed meds that are typically used for another condition, which I stopped taking because they were ineffective and had side effects. He pretty much threw up his hands. Maybe if you go see him with a straightforward neuro issue, he can help you.

I'm not sorry but if I could give ZERO stars I would. Most arrogant "doctor" I have ever encountered in my life and has no idea what a brain is supposed to look like. Absolute disgrace. I'm just angry with MYSELF for not telling him off when I had the chance.

The worst experience with a doctor in my entire life. Dr. Margolies is very rude, arrogant, sarcastic, unfriendly and unprofessional. Demonstrates zero compassion. Does not look at the picture holistically. Doubts symptoms and laughs at them. Does not answer questions. Does not remember you as a patient. Does not look at MRI images, selectively looks only at some areas on the reports. Has very bad reputation in the medical professional community. Wish I read all the reviews before visiting him.
