Dr. Lucio Gordan, MD

I started with a myeloprolifertive hematologic disorder and also got breast cancer twice. Dr. Gordon worked with me and my GP to find appropriate treatments . He and his nurse practitioners are wonderful. They all explain what is going on and the logic behind their treatment decisions. They listen to my questions and concerns and answer them. When I called and said they found DCIS and wanted to discuss it, I got an appointment with him rather quickly. He discussed post surgical treatment options which were complicated by my blood disorder. I have been seeing him since 2013 and trust him completely.

That he listened to what i had to say, he explained anything i asked him about and he, or his PA, is always available if i need him

The Florida Cancer Specialists staff is knowledgeable, they`re helpful, they genuinely care about you so it`s a great place. If you have to go for that reason I can`t think of a better place to go. I`m glad they`re there.

I was told to come a half hour early to fill out paperwork. I actually came 40 minutes early but they didn`t give me the paperwork until five minutes before my appointment time so I was dissatisfied as I told them that I came early to fill out paperwork and I would assume that they would have given it to me right then and there. So that was my main dissatisfaction.
