Went to an appointment and did not see the doctor
I had an appointment for a kidney stones follow up. I did not even have the pleasure to see the doctor but only a nurse who told me I had to get an ultrasound and an x-ray and go back in two weeks. I should have known it before going to see the doctor rather than losing additional two weeks and lose two hrs of my time without even talking to a doctor. Absolutely unprofessional. I changes urologist.

Dr Coccimiglio is hard to understand and doesn't explain procedures. To handle my wife's kidney stone she put in a pre-surgery stent. We were led to believe she would do the surgery the following week. My wife had nothing but problems with the stent causing her to throw up everything she ate for three days. We contacted the doctor and she said it would be at least two weeks before she could operate since she and her partner were going out of town for a conference. She said to just try to figure out which medicines were causing the issue and stop taking them. We called our general practitioner who told us to go to the hospital because she wasn't getting the benefit from the antibiotic do to the vomiting and it is also likely to be causing her to become dehydrated. We switched to a different practice and they did the surgery the very next day.

Dr. Coccimiglio was rude in most of my appointments. Only wanted me to try different kinds of medicine for my urinary problem. She did not take the time to explain any of my situation or what she thought the problem was. It seemed as she always needed to rush to the next appointment. If she was in the room for five minutes, it was a long time! I was very disappointed and will not go back.

Dr. Coccomiglio was a pleasure to deal with. She preformed a vasectomy on me and did everything in her power to make sure I was comfortable both before during and after. I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a vasectomy.
