Finally found my forever doctor
I first met Doctor Baretto during the pandemic when my anxiety was peaked. The way he spoke to me & built out a plan without even knowing me changed how I view doctors - he has been my general ever since & I fully intend to keep it that way until the sad day he retires.

Very please with Dr. Baretto.
First visit was informative. He answered my questions & addressed my concerns. He personally called me after my mammogram to tell me everything looked good, but to call him if I had questions. He personally called me again when my blood work came back showing high cholesterol. He asked that I come in the next day to discuss my options for addressing this. I told him I didn’t want to take medicine. He worked out a 3-month-plan to see if I could get control of the cholesterol on my own without pharmaceuticals. He actually listened to me, we both compromised, and he’s working toward my better health with me. He’s smart, personable and young. He’s upbeat and takes his time. The office was very clean and bright. It took a long time to find a new GP. He was worth the wait.

We recently became full time residents in Ocean City. I figured I should get a primary doctor in town. I called Dr Baretto's office. The front end staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. When I arrived for my visit the nurse who took my information was professional and easy to talk to. Dr. Baretto was fantastic. Took his time with me, asked me questions, listened to my concerns. Called me with results of my blood work, and referred me for a routine test to monitor an issue I have had. The test came back requiring further study be done and Dr. Baretto was supportive, informative, and kind in relaying what could be stressful information. I have been to his office twice and both times could not be more pleased with my treatment.

I had a hernia repair in NY a year ago. I have been experiencing some pain at the hernia sight after an issue. I called this office and told the person why I wanted to see someone (Dr. Baretto) so I could get a prescription for an ultrasound to make sure I was not experiencing a recurrent hernia. Dr. Baretto entered the exam room, with a mask that was not covering his nose at all. It was so loose that I could see his mouth when he spoke. I told him I was uncomfortable with this, he gave a condescending chuckle and replied I won't get the virus here. He then proceeded to welcome me to the practice for a yearly physical. I told him I was not there for a yearly physical and again explained the need for an ultrasound to determine if I had a recurrent hernia(this was in my file). He said that's not the way it is done here. I will refer you to a surgeon (2-week wait period) to see what they think. No exam, nothing. Do not go here!
