I was going to Dr. Anez until he dropped my insurance now I'm trying to see if I can get back to his office. I'm on Sunshine Health Medicaid.

I’ve been going since 2019.
I’ve gotten appointments promptly and treated well by staff. Due to a traumatic and almost deadly experience in the past, I’m weary of student trainees. There are trainees there, but how else are they going to learn and get required hours. If I need to see the doc rather than PA, I ask specifically. Dr. Remy Phillips is a very good addition to the practice. Some visits I’ve had a long wait time, but understandable, as a patient prior had more complications, which took more time and I’ve also been “that patient”. Dr. Anex is always nice and his staff have treated me well. My medications have been sent to the pharmacy as quick as before I left the office. Gllad that he happens to be closer to me. I know reviews are just a small window of time of a persons experience, which could be a pro or con, but no office and wait time is predictable. I’ve waited longer at prior PCP’s and specialists that know that I suffer from chronic pain and I have to suck it up. They let me lay down to wait.

Telehealth
There is no willingness to help or collaborate because the attitude leaves a lot to be said. Administrative staff. The person who greeted me for this consultation at the front desk and took notes of the visit no longer works at this place.I went to ask some questions to Dr. Luis Añez that were clarified about an accident at work and for which I am grateful, but after getting the Refill of the medications I needed including the Tramadol they have placed codes and billed something that is not correct. And it brought me conflict with the clinic that was providing me with services for the work accident, it should be noted that I have never received medical attention for spinal problems with Dr. Luis Añez.I find it a mockery that after having you on the wait for more than an hour, they are able to put extra time on the visit and charge it with a code for these cases.

Great doctor with a horrible staff
I have been going to Dr Anez for close to a decade and it pains me to do this but I cannot go to a doctor with a careless staff that hangs up on me, tries their best to get me off the phone, forgets to refill my prescription on multiple occasions and overall gives me attitude each time I call.

Go elsewhere
Some in the office appear to speak almost no English. Some tension between the women in the office with alot of chatter going on. Dr. Anez did not examine me and only took histories. Called in wrong prescription info so insurance would not cover them.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. You never even see Dr Anez, usually one of his ARNP’s that he keeps on the books or a random medical student you’ve never seen before. Shane is especially terrible, refusing to listen to my concerns about adjusting my medication and being completely dismissive and rude to a patient obviously in very severe pain. She clearly doesn’t display the empathy necessary to work as a healthcare professional, her bedside manner was the worst I’ve ever encountered. The office is completely disorganized and the staff is rude. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this office. BEWARE.

I have been with Doctor Anez for over 2 years now. At first the service was great but over the past 8 months the quality of performance and friendliness of the staff has significantly decreased. I had a kidney infection 3 months ago; I spent 2 hours in the waiting room and was skipped repeatedly until I was forced to make a scene due to the kidney pain. When I demanded a refund so I could leave for emergency care, I was then seen by a professional. This is just one example of poor treatment!

He was extremely hyper-focused on my paid meds even after I told him I have an orthopedist at Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute who handles those. I don't take more than 1/2 a pill a day, if even that, and he simply couldn't move these past meds even though I had no interest in seeing him for that condition. Not to mention he is not a orthopedic doctor and I have metal rods in my spine. He was short, abrupt and completely ignored me as a whole person. Made me feel horrible.
