Nearly 24 years ago, while in the US NAVY (Balboa), Dr. Becerra was my Neurologist. I had acute onset CIDP and it took about a year to get me walking again, but we did it! I have had many other pitfalls since then, but he was a great Doc, and I am thankful for him. I hope to shake his hand again someday! I'm sure he will remember me. IS2 Shaner

Excellent neurologist
I’ve been seeing Dr. Becerra for years to help treat my Chronic Migraines. He’s very knowledgeable, attentive, quick with procedures & personable. Highly recommended!

Unqualified doctor
My diagnosis was incorrect, ordered wrong MRI test, medication he prescribed didn’t work. Report filled with errors. I called the office to request a phone call with the doctor no response. BAD!

Does not listen to patient
I found Dr. Becerra to be very arrogant and unwilling to listen or answer questions. When I asked what the side effects of a prescription he proposed he answered "Lots and lots." Obviously, that was unprofessional and unhelpful. Other questions were completely ignored. I left promising myself I would find another neurologist.

Dr. Becerra’s level of care and knowledge is outstanding. He has treated a few members of my family producing great healing results. He follows up and is willingness to give the best of himself is greatly appreciated and his expertise has impacted my family’s quality of Life for the better. I always recommend him .

Dr Becerra spent two minutes with my dad, based on that, he established his prognosis without any further exploration. Lack of empathy towards patient and family . Lack of bedside manners. Arrogant and combative to answer questions. I do not recommend him, especially if your loved one is in a condition that requires a lot of answers from a specialist.

My Mother was at Avsntura Hopsital waiting to see the neurologist all day to understand he MRI. When he got there he spoke a million miles an hour in english and my poor Mother couldn’t understand anything! He was walking out before she was able to ask a single question. No bedside manners or manners at all. Seriously sick of doctors that think their time is more valuable than a patients. Would not recommend this man to anyone. Also, now I find out he is Latino and speak Spanish! Seriously !!!!
