Terrible experience every time!
Dr Escobar has no interest in treating the child or helping in any way. He discounts most things said by the parents and tells you to just enjoy the child. Even with clear signs of issues occurring, he denied them and told us we did NOT want to know if seizures were occurring or look for help. We had to beg for a referral to a neurologist and then he charged us for extra time he spent. He also has terrible bedside manner and makes our child incredibly uncomfortable every time. He insults her and everyone else in the room. We have no interest in returning.

Thank God We Got A 2nd Opinion.
Although my grandsons BWS testing came back negative, he was clinically diagnosed due to having enough markers. The diagnosis was then pulled after a 1.5 yr and that meant losing his quarterly cancer screenings. I strongly felt that if it wasn’t BWS, it was another genetic condition. I asked to keep the screenings or to test for something else and was treated as if I was clueless. He sees 5 specialist due to his symptoms that all correlate with several genetic conditions. At my last visit, I asked the NP to please talk to Dr E. to ask about the screenings and she told me that he said “he can’t have screens because he doesn’t have BWS”. We transferred to a new geneticist at a different hospital and at 2.5 years old and only 1 visit and testing, we received his diagnosis. SGBS. He has a 10 to 11% chance of getting cancer before 8.” (Kidneys, pancreas, liver, spleen, adrenal glands), cardiac issues, speech, developmental, cognitive, overgrowth, large tongue, swallowing issues & much….

Quality Healthcare Provider
Dr. Escobar is the true definition of a healthcare provider. He took time to listen and provide education. I admired his compassion for my health concerns and the pathology of my concerns. I appreciate that he did not push medication as the only option to quality of care. I appreciate that I didn't not feel press of time. I appreciate that not only did he hear my concerns but he listened to my perspective. We need more healthcare providers like Dr. Escobar to change trajectory of the quality of care through education and compassion.

Dr. Escobar was great with my kids. I have twin boys that had appointments with him. My 2 1/2 year old daughter went also. He was great with all of them. I didn’t feel rushed and he came in right away. He answered all my questions.

We went to him for 6 years. Our son has Down Syndrome and autism. He ran CBC blood work every 6 months. The bloodwork always came back "off" and majorly out if range. Dr Escobar said that was normal for a kid with Downs. We didn't only switch Doctors we switched hospitals and come to find out my son has been severely anemic for years. Also they are closely monitoring his CBC as they are always low. He isn't through. He lacks any current knowledge with many conditions. His bedside manner could be improved. Please do research about him before letting your child see him.

Dr. Escobar has treated our children for years and has always gone above and beyond for them. He accurately diagnosed them when another children's hospital in our area had grossly misdiagnosed them. He has been a huge help through the years getting them to the different specialists they have needed, written letters for our childrn's IEP's, called the school himself, made sure they were getting their therapies, supplies, etc.

I wish their was a place for negative stars I wish I would have sued him years ago. This "Dr" is the worst!!!! He smacked one of my baby twin girls and said that their is nothing wrong with them I just needed to toughen them up ! He was so wrong they both have genetic disorders and he shouldn't be allowed to continue with his neglectful harmful disrespectful practice and I will call an attorney since my regular drs are now trying to make me go back to him!!!

I have not ever had a bad experience. Dr Escobar listened to all my concerns and was open and honest about everything! He even talked and listened to my kids! And if I didn't understand something he would sit there and explain it to me until I understood. I have recommended him to several friends and family members!
