Dr. Luke Chesney, MD

Dr. Chesney was my primary care doctor for years. Every appointment I had I told him how constantly fatigued I was and he just kept telling me it was normal to be tired. He rushed through our appointments and dismissed my concerns. After switching doctors, I have now been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and a sleep disorder. Dr. Chesney is a very kind man but unfortunately, I went years without a diagnosis due to his negligence.

Dr. Chesney has a warm, friendly, relaxed manner, and is easy to talk to. But he's also extremely sharp. He picked up that my ex-wife's thyroid measurements were amiss, even though for 10 years she had been under the care of another doctor who monitored her thyroid medication (apparently two lab numbers were not correlating as one would expect). He immediately ordered the proper tests, which came out negative. Then referred her to an excellent endocrinologist, who figured out what was going and made the necessary corrections. Her health problems soon subsided.

It was my first time seeing Dr.Chesney. He was so kind and extremely patience. I felt like he was caring and hearing everything I said. I would recommend him highly. He is my daughters Dr. and she really likes and trust him.

My husband and I are both new patients. We have each had only our initial new patient visit. Dr. Chesney and his Medical Assistant are efficient and appropriately attentive. He made referrals and I have had necessary testing performed. When I use the patient portal to communicate with them electronically, I receive prompt responses. I requested a referral and a new prescription via the portal and received both within 24-48 hours. They have exceeded my expectations thus far.

Dr Chesney is very caring and compassionate. Even though I'm sure his schedule is very busy, he never appears rushed and takes his time to provide care and to answer any questions. He took care of my mother in the past and found an issue that multiple previous doctors had missed which extended her life an additional five years. For that we are so grateful! He is currently treating my father who is extremely hard of hearing. Dr Chesney takes the time to communicate to my father and to make sure that he understands everything. We love Dr. Chesney!

Excellent family practitioner. Spends plenty of time with you during a visit. Addresses your needs. Truly a caring Doctor that does everything in his power to address your healthcare needs and your overall well-being. I’d highly recommend him to anyone.

This was my first time seeing a family medicine doctor in over 5 years and Dr. Chesney did not disappoint! The Summit Medical office is clean and the entire staff are kind and professional. Dr. Chesney himself was very kind, funny, and attentive. I would recommend him to anyone. So grateful to know a family man is a family doctor!

You will be treated like a piece of cord wood. Dr Chesney comes off as a nice guy but beware!

Dr. Chesney is very kind and takes the time to ask about me, not just my health issues. He has been kind and patient with my children when I've had to bring them with me to appointments. He has helped every issue come to a resolution. Also- I've never waited longer than 10 minutes to be seen at his office! I highly recommend him!
