He was very good, he listened to me and made sure I got the help I needed. It is had for me to get help because I have to care for my husband who needs 100 % care. He help find me work around so I can do my therapy, get to mri appointment and he is going to do phone conference instead of me driving back two hours for appointment. It was the first time seeing him and he was very kind. This is why I get all my care and surgeries through ESSENTIA. They care about me.

Dr. W., offered a lubricant hyaluronic acid injection for my knee; I declined as I wanted to think about it. Two hours after our visit, I rec'd an email from FDA recalling a certain batch of hyaluronic acid! Laying aside that sidebar, I'm very grateful for Dr. W's gracious and knowledgeable care.

Dr. Widstrom was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and actively listened as o explained my concerns. He demonstrated some stretches, exercises, etc to alleviate discomfort. He further assisted by calling in a physical therapist to go over specific exercises to help in my movement.

Dr. Luke Widstrom is always patient during a visit. He asks questions about my life and stops to actively listen. This does not go unnoticed! While he was listening he could have gestured me to the exam table, but he didn't! He wholly listened and cared for me as a person and as a patient. I feel lucky to have Dr. Widstrom managing my ortho care.

Dr Widstrom was very good at assessing this recurring painful knee. He could tell from the swelling and symptoms thast an MRI was needed to evualte the soft tissues that did not show up in the X-Rays. He ordered an MRI and a follow-up visit to consider different treatments.
