Dr. Iles-Shih is the best doctor ever. She is so compassionate, thorough, and knowledgeable. She anticipated and answered all my questions. She spent plenty of time with me and I felt like she wanted to listen and provide the best care possible. She also is extremely kind to me and my other family members who see her, and always remembers details about our lives and asks about how the others are doing, which is so sweet. I'm so grateful for her!

Dr Lulu is THE BEST, but she is busy and I know that it is sometimes difficult to reach her in the time frame I want. I consider that part of having an excellent doctor. Her time is limited and I deal with it!

After being diagnosed with UC at 18 (now 44). It took me years and many GI doctors to find Dr Iles Shih. I have been her patient now for probably about 15 years. She was so different from all the other GI doctors I had seen. She has more than one time went above and beyond as a doctor. She listens and treats me with dignity and respect. She doesn't talk at me like some doctors but talks with me to help figure out what the best way to treat my current condition. She is warm, kind and truly cares about her patients. All I can say is if you are lucky enough to have her as your doctor you will not ever look for a different doctor because you will have found the best in the GI field.

She is a wonderful doctor in every way. I cannot imagine better care.

My video visit with Dr. Iles-Shih was perfect. She explained my results clearly and answered my questions. She understood my needs and preferences and took those into account as she gave me a recommendation for next steps. I particularly like that she did a cost-benefit analysis when explaining potential treatments, i.e., she took into account the potential costs (negative side-effects) of the treatments in addition to the benefits for someone in my specific situation and with my specific test results.

Having a chronic illness is hard, but having Dr. Iles-Shih on my team makes it easier. She is always there to provide medical support and answer my questions. She truly is the very best.
