Dr. Luminita Vladutu, MD

Dr Vladutu has Managed my Pain through multiple surgeries. She coordinates with the Anesthesiologist in the OR and starts my Management in the Recovery Room. She has done an excellent job!!! I suspect those 4 one-star reviews were put in by one vindictive angry person. Dr Vladutu is a 5 star MD.

Dr. Vladutu is a very unprofessional and vindictive individual. She recommended experimental therapy with Ketamine for me that has resulted in permanent brain damage in multiple patients. Dr. Vladutu did not like to hear this, especially in front of another surgeon. Due to her pride being hurt Dr. Vladutu compromised my care at Tampa General Hospital by keeping me in the basement Emergency Overflow for six days when beds were available in the hospital. She canceled my consultations with doctors, shared demeaning personal details with my attending nurses and created an incriminating false report in my medical file. This woman should not be in any position of authority and certainly not anything giving her decisions over a patient’s care. I have reported her to United Health Care, Tampa General President and The Board of Medical Professionals.

This woman is so bitter and mean I cannot imagine putting my life in her hands. Steer clear of her.

Will never use someone like this! Shame on you!

I had shoulder replacement surgery with Dr. Vladutu as my assigned pain management doctor. When I woke up from the surgery, I thought I was dead. The unbelievably horrific pain pulsing thru my body was something that no one should ever have to go thru. Dr. Vladutu took my hand and said, “I’m sorry. I didn’t administer the pain medication for when you woke up from the operation. I thought I’d wait to see what pain level you were feeling”. It took ONE DAY to finally manage the indescribable pain. All my life I’ve heard the phrase...Stay Ahead of the Pain. Because of Dr. Vladutu’s unbelievably poor judgment, I suffered greatly and healed slowly and painfully. The credo of Do No Harm was just the OPPOSITE with this doctor. Beware. The nightmares I still have over this situation are horrible. Go to someone else for pain management. This doctor harmed me so badly, I will never forget it or her. Shame on you, Dr. Vladutu. You should not have hurt me so badly.
