Dr. Lydia Hostetler, DO

Best gyno ever, took time to listen to my concerns and explain everything, had lots of suggestions and was very validating!

I highly recommend Dr. Hostetler. She was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She listened to what I had to say, answered all my questions, and explained my different options in a very clear and concise manner. The office staff were friendly, courteous, and efficient. I couldn’t recommend this office more highly.

She is great! She is not in a hurry, she listens, and really takes her time to explain everything as she is doing it and is very thorough.

During my first and only appointment with Dr. Hostetler, I had a terrible experience. I have been on bioidentical HRT for several years, but Dr. Hostetler insisted that I should be taking synthetic progesterone instead, solely because it could be measured. She disregarded how I felt, claiming that it didn't matter and that bioidentical and synthetic hormones were the same. However, I know they are not the same. She repeatedly talked over me, dismissed my concerns, and was generally condescending. I chose her because she is a DO, but I have never dealt with such a terrible DO before. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who will listen, respect their concerns, and treat them respectfully.

Rude, condescending and pushes her personal beliefs. This Dr takes her medical degree and uses it as power to pressure young scared first time parents to be into doing what she feels is “right” terrible at listening and educating the parents to be. Needs to learn to keep things professional. Her attitude was not only uncomfortable but unacceptable in this profession.

Would highly recommend to anyone. Very knowledgeable and also easy to talk to, not always an easy combination to find! It’s clear she cares about her patients.

I believe Dr. Hostetler has moved to the Centura OB/GYN in Longmont, CO. This review is for her. The office was incredible - everyone was kind, it was exceptionally clean, and easy to get into (not far to walk, good accessibility). Dr. Hostetler was amazing - very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend.

Very inconsiderate, would not listen to what my partner and I wanted for our pregnancy. Pushy and snotty when speaking to me. Does not accurately record medical information.

Dr. Hostetler is not only extremely knowledgeable, kind, and efficient, but she is also very approachable. Her bedside manner made me feel completely comfortable and at ease throughout the appointment.

She is a very knowledgeable, caring and effective medical provider. I felt like she really listened to me and provided me with useful information on treatment options.
