Dr. Lydia Roberts, DO

I took my daughter for an appointment that was scheduled with Dr. Robert’s on February, 16th 2025 because I was concerned that my daughter had very enlarged tonsils. We were there for 10-15 minutes and I felt that Dr.Roberts did not assess my daughter properly. I told her how I was really concerned about the size of my daughter’s tonsils. She briefly looked at them, asked me if my daughter has had strep throat in the past, and then said that she doesn’t need any surgery because she doesn’t have a past of strep throat and “they’re big, but not big enough for surgery.” I got a second opinion from another doctor at the office and she took one look and said she needed them removed, and that they were huge so surgery is scheduled for next week. Mind you we live an hour from the office but both of my daughters have been coming here and I’ve never had a problem any other time. Dr. Adhikari, Dr. Estep, and Dr.Cole are amazing! They truly listen to your concerns and want the best for your child. Just a word of advice to thoroughly listen to parent concerns.

We’ve been seeing Dr Roberts for 6 years now and she always listens to my concerns. She always has knowledge in every question I ask and answers those questions. She is the best!

So I get to her office called cause I'd rather stay in my car till they're ready they say actually come on in were ready after 35min past my appointment time I go to the front desk and cancel. Two days later I get a paper stating they will no longer see my kids. Ive never had a problem with Dr Robert's till this day an I feel she was in the wrong I mean how long should I have to sit there waiting on you.
