Good doctor who really cares and listens but needs to take 2 minutes to review medical history before the appointment to not waste time or miss things (I was told to see a specialist for a procedure the previous year, didn't get to, and the condition was never even brought up the next year)

Where do I begin. I had a fibroadenoma that was in my breast and she didn't take it seriously. Months later, I got a second opinion, which lead to a biopsy, which led to it being removed. I have A.d.d and I've tried unsuccessfully to get on medication for two years. Why? Because she forgot (she admitted it to me) and she'd rather listen to a cardiologist who told me point blank that a.d.d is all in my head and I'm not trying hard enough to concentrate. He verbally told me I could go on it despite it conflicting with a migraine medication I take as needed for them.. I'm not stupid,, I would not take them at the same time.. I wish I was making this up. I should have stopped seeing her a long time ago.

I had been putting off my annual exam for a long time because I was anxious about the procedures. I finally I gained the courage to prioritize my health and come in. I was so nervous but Dr . Stanco and team didn't make it awkward at all. She kept me talking and distracted during the parts of the exam that I was afraid of. Everyone was upbeat and I walked away saying, "That's it!? That wasn't bad at all!" I appreciate the professionalism. Best of all, I didn't feel judged for my anxieties. I know I have a primary care provider in my corner.

So many doctors are in a rush to push you out the door and check you off the list, but she seems to want to make sure everything is addressed and there are no questions or concerns.
