Amazing Doctor and Staff
I will admit I was a bit nervous to take my dad to see Dr. Wang due to the reviews I had seen. As dealing with memory challenges isn't an easy topic to start with for an 84-year-old. The reviews couldn't be more wrong. The office staff was amazing from scheduling the appointment to meeting them in person at the appointment. Dr. Wang's assistant Mark put dad and I at ease immediately and was so good with my dad. When we got to see the doctor, as Mark did most of the preliminary testing by just chatting with dad, she was amazing. Dr. Wang took time with us, we never felt rushed. She explained everything in terms we could understand, and we were so pleased with the game plan when we left the appointment.

Please see any other neurologist than this one.
This was the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. I was referred to her because I was having intense headaches and internal shaking, heartbeat in my head, vertigo, and extreme noise sensitivity.By the time my appointment came, my headaches had gone away (I had a surgery done and my headaches went away afterwards) but I was still having strange sensations so I kept the appointment.Once the doc found out my headaches went away she told me she is a 'neurologist' so she cannot treat me and that I need to go. Completely shocked, I explained to her that my doctors said I needed to see a neurologist for my symptoms. And she said 'No, neurologist treat headaches' and since I don't have one I don't need to be there. Desperately needing help, I asked her if I could tell her my other symptoms and she said No. Then she reprimanded me for being there for quite some time. Afterwards I told her my symptoms and she shook her head the whole time. I burst into tears. No help, what a waste.

This woman should have her license revoked! I suffered a stroke in 2016 I dont recall ever meeting her, however in 2021 I was referred to her by doctor. During my office visit she informed me that she was the neurologist on call at the time of my stroke and she was the neurologist that treated me. She then proceeded to tell me there was nothing that could be done for my pain. She stated " your stroke was in 2016. You are in your 50's. Why don't you just accept it?" she went on to state "You need to stop working and go on disability, then you won't be in so much pain." She is a DISCUSTING excuse for a human being.

I highly recommend Dr. Wang. She is very thorough, listens to your questions and concerns and provides detailed answers. When performing tests, Dr. Wang explains everything she is doing and also provides detailed explanations of the results. Dr. Wang came across to me as a very caring, compassionate doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Wang by my chiropractor since I was continuing to have sensory symptoms after receiving spinal decompressions for my neck and back. My chiropractor spent WAY more time evaluating me than Dr. Wang did. She told me she thought I needed to see a rheumatologist because I could have fibromyalgia, and she said she didn't understand why I was referred to her... even though I was having numbness, tingling, and burning sensations in addition to balance issues. She told me if I was really concerned she would order MRIs for me. Of course I said yes, please do. My MRI revealed serious cervical stenosis at C5 and C6. During my follow up she told me she didn't think my stenosis was causing my arm and hand weakness, and again told me I should see a rheumatologist for possible fibromyalgia. I will be getting a second opinion from a neurosurgeon. I will say that her nurse is amazing! He showed so much concern and I felt like he really did care.

I was referred to Dr. Wang for numbness in both of my feet. Once I mentioned that I was diabetic she made her mind up that the numbness was from my diabetes. I explained that I had not been a diabetic very long my diabetes had been controlled. She still insisted it was diabetes. I ALSO explained that I had had back surgery on my L4/L5 and I felt it was back related. She proceeded to tell me it was NOT related to my back. She preformed a nerve sensory test and bloodwork and AGAIN said it was neuropathy from diabetes. Her solution was meds and “live with it”.After returning to my Dr. and getting an MRI I have found out that my L4/L5 have collapsed onto my S1 and my feet numbness is 100% NOT DIABETIC RELATED!!! I was also informed the sensory test are not reliable and can be tweeted for the desired results. She is a terrible Dr.!!! She relies on her assistant to take care of things way to much. She didn’t even know how to work the machine for my test! I’m SO MAD I ever went to see her!!!

The nurse was good. I was referred from Baylor Heart for a same day appt Wed, which was great. I brought copies of my records from an ER visit, Mon, so the doctor would have a full picture/timeline of why I was there. I don't think she looked at them because when she came into the room she had to ask me when it started three times. She ordered an MRI and eluded to anxiety. Asked what her if she felt my issue was neuro related or heart related. She said I don't care about the heart (Ok then)

Dr Wang gave two different results off of one EEG test done on my father. He has been moved to LTC, we requested another EEG, she said he doesn't need one. When we requested another EEG at the hospital & a different Dr too read the test, Dr Wang called me and basically chastised me for that! Dr Wang hasn't seen my father or his chart in almost a month now. I would not recommend this Dr. Find another Dr that will do as the patient/family asks.

Very difficult to get anyone at this practice to answer the phone. We had to leave a message every time just to schedule an appointment. Dr. Wang does not seem to have time to answer questions. My mother did not feel comfortable with her. When we asked to switch to another doctor within the practice who would answer our questions we were told to go to another practice. I would not recommend this office. When I questioned a pt.'s right to choose and informed consent they didn't seem to care.
