Did not read my medical record documenting allergy
I have a documented allergy to CT Contrast. She either did not read my medical record submitted by my doctor or didn't care. Her directions, in denying my PET SCAN claim, were for me to have a CT scan with contrast. I am ALLERGIC to the contrast and would go into anaphylaxis and die if it were injected. What reputable radiologist doesn't consider a person's allergies?

Should be ZERO. Terrible- Same as the others said. She denied my Neurosurgeon's request for a follow up MRI to my BRAIN TUMOR REMOVAL surgery (occurred a month before) for my follow up appointment with him. She noted information about my history that was inaccurate, and didn't even note my surgery had occurred. For as educated as she must be as a radiologist, she is incompetent. Her POOR decision was reversed of course.

Like the previous review, this doctor denied my annual follow follow-up CT scan. I had a partial nefrectomomy (sp?), a partial kidney removal due to renal cancer. This so called doctor is a third party reviewer with eviCore. Makes no sense to deny an annual CT scan to make sure my cancer does not return. I hope nobody is actually treated by this person.

Incredibly horrible experience! This doctor works for Evicore and denied a stage IV cancer patient a yearly diagnostic PET/CT without even meeting the patient. She works as a third party for the insurance companies. She is a radiologists who is trying to make excuses to why a stage IV cancer patient is not in need of this scan until there is spread of disease. After years of getting a scan this women decided that stage IV wasn’t reason enough to watch for spread of disease.
