Gross negligence in high risk pregnancy
My experience with Dr. Maria Hoffman was nothing short of a nightmare. She set me up to walk into a trap by advising me to be induced the next day, assuring me I could take my time getting to the hospital, and relying on NSTs for monitoring. I REPEATEDLY asked if I needed a C section do to IUGR. Despite her many notes indicating that an operative delivery was likely, she never counseled me on this, leaving me uninformed and unprepared.After cashing in on my twice-weekly visits, when it came time for delivery, I was left on the operating table for a leisurely two hours due to no surgical counts being performed. This could have had fatal consequences for me and my baby. Dr. Hoffman refuses to take accountability for her gross negligence, despite being more involved in my care than any other doctor.I strongly advise against trusting Dr. Hoffman with your care. Her lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability are unacceptable and dangerous.
