Dr. Burris operated on my shoulder, and repaired damage of my labrum, my rotator cuff and removed bursitis. After being in pain for years, I must say I have felt No surgery pain, only aches which is expected. He did a fabulous job and if I ever need my other shoulder repaired, Dr. Burris is the doctor who will do it. Also, when my artificial knee goes out, he is the doc for me!!! Excellent doctor.

At 12 wks post op of lefter shoulder reversal implant my shoulder is doing well. Dr Burrus gave me good guidance and is properly attentive to my recovery. Being 60 plus male recvery is going well and his expertise with shoulders shows.

Dr Burrus and his nurses Alexis and Hannah were absolutely wonderful. I’ve never experienced such quality care before. Alexis was very thorough and made sure I had everything I needed (at first I thought Alexis was the doctor before Dr Burrus walked in). Dr did my reverse total shoulder replacement last month. I was on our block for five days after removing the nerve block had zero pain and I have no pain till today. My wound1 has healed very well. I had my postop meeting with the doctor and he took the x-ray and found everything to be in good condition. He said I can start driving in two weeks. He is an amazing doctor. I don’t know what You don’t even feel that he did the surgery. I am so happy that I found he is young, but he is really talented. He doesn’t talk much but he’s well focused on his work all the right direction. Would I need to do now going forward thank you Dr for your excellent work.

Dr Burrus is a fine surgeon and young man. I research many surgeons when I knew I needed to get my shoulder repaired. Dr Burrus stood out and once I met him and concluded my initial appointment, I knew he was the correct choice. After my surgery and initial recovery he has been stellar with keeping me informed, answering my follow questions and just ensuring my health and recovery continues as it should.

Initially visited Dr. Burrus for a second opinion after being told I needed shoulder surgery by another Dr. . I had surgery 45 years earlier on the same shoulder for a football injury. Both doctors agreed I needed surgery but Dr Burrus did a better job explaining what type of surgery I should have which due to the extent of damage, typical shoulder surgery was not what he recommended . He recommended Reverse shoulder replacement which after I did additional research, had to agree he was right. 6 weeks after the surgery I am making great progress and had little pain after the 2nd week.

He was very friendly and seemed to care about the pain i was having. He was to the point, made a referral and gave me a prescription for inflammation.

Dr. Burrus is amazing, he is there to listen to what is bothering you and come to a conclusion on what needs to be done. I had shoulder surgery and I’m a 100% better. He will be my doctor always!!! Thank you Dr. Burrus

Dr. Burrus is an excellent listener and very knowledgeable. He is on top of current research and applies it to his practice. His response to emails is incredible which demonstrates his care for his patients. He is a representation of a doctor that wants to understand the needs and wants for his patients to best serve them.
