A smart compassionate doctor
My wife was in the hospital over a week with diverticulitis. After day 3 I was asking the doctors for a change of anti-biotic as her white cell count kept going up not down, and I requested a drain or aspiration of the puss pocket. It took Dr. Carroll her first tour with my wife to recognize she needed a change of anti-biotic and called for a surgical aspiration.
