Dr. Kuppusamy has gone to great lengths to explain the upcoming procedures. He displayed patience and compassion throughout the process. Truly a rarity in these days of hurried medicine and greatly appreciated.

The Dr. Listened and watched all my actions to get a better idea of what was needed. He did not force his opinion of my problem on me.

I recently had reconstructive thoracic surgery with Dr. Kuppusamy and it has been life-changing!Other providers dismissed my symptoms. But upon seeing my CT, Dr. Kuppusamy expertly described the biomechanical issues with my ribcage, and he developed a personalized surgical plan to address my specific structural issues.Dr. Kuppusamy is extremely thorough and detail-oriented. In fact, during the surgery, he noticed related issues that had been too small to see on imaging, and he took the time and effort to fix those as well — even though they were on a different body part (the lung)!Dr. Kuppusamy treats patients holistically, considering them as people to be helped and not reducing them to medical diagnoses or business transactions. He personally advocated for my insurance to cover the surgery until they approved it.I will never forget the feeling of waking up in recovery and being able to breathe for the first time in memory. My wife had part of her lung removed with simply through one incision(1inch). She recovered quickly because of the amazing skills of this surgeon. Excellent communicator. Best in town.

He made every aspect of this very complex surgery explained clear to me. He took care of my postoperative period and follow ups very well. I have chronic pain issues. He paid special attention to my pain management as well.
