She never got a full explanation of my symptoms because she interrupted everything I said. She performed an exam without my consent. I felt incredibly violated. I left crying and bleeding down my legs. I will definitely never go back.

I was a high risk patient suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness), similar to what Kate Middleton has. It was a simple fix, being dehydrated, a series of IV's for a few days. Kurup wanted me to stay under her care so that she could say she was capable of showing she could handle high risks. She was NOT! She insisted that while pregnant I should take depression medication; that was later found out to cause severe birth defects. I refused, she kicked us out of the hospital.

Dr. Kurup is wonderful. She is not theoretical and short and to the point. However has never let me worry about any minor issue with pregnancy until it would become an actual problem. She answers my questions and her level of experience makes me completely comfortable with her medical decisions. She has delivered 2 of my children!

I have seen Dr Kurup for many , many years and truly think the world of her. Her kindness , understanding and making me feel comfortable is incredible. Anyone who is new to this office who would like to have her as their doctor would be totally satisfied. I would recommend Dr Kurup with a full 5 star rating!!!! :o) :o)

Dr. Kurup is wonderful & has been my gyn for 10yrs She listens, is empathetic, but firm when it comes to your health. Dr. Kurup will give you her advice, tell you when you need to lose weight - it is her responsibility to advise when your weight is a health issue!! I had a medical issue a few years ago, and Dr. Kurup had the best 'bed side manner' telling me what was wrong. The staff is also wonderful. Over the years I have had discussions regarding my health with a few - very compassionate!
