No empathy. I am a melanoma patient and came in for a facial skin problem. I asked her to look at a suspicious mole on my back and she refused. She said that I would need to come back to have it evaluated. Seems like she sees patients as profit centers.

As a direct result of Dr. DelMonaco's incompetence, my daughter was diagnosed with Intracranial Hypertension, and her doctors feel it was caused directly by the antibiotics (Doxycycline) Dr. DelMonaco prescribed to her for over a year for acne. We were told by neurologists and neuro-opthamologists @ Wills Eye and Jefferson Hospital that no teenage girl should EVER take tetracycline-based antibiotics for this length of time. She has permanent damage to her eyesight & was nearly blinded for life.

Dr. Del Monaco is an excellent dermatologist. She's been seeing my teenage daughter and I for many years. She knowledgable and personable. You won't be disappointed.
