Dr. Magda Bishai, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Bishai for several years. My experience has been very positive. She is kind, caring and thorough. She listens to all my worries and complaints and treats them accordingly. I had a condition that she went beyond what you would expect to get me the correct diagnosis from numerous specialists until it was resolved. I highly recommend her.

Went to Dr. Bashai with a handful of issues that had been bothering me for some time. My husband finally convinced me to see a doctor. She chose one issue and gave me completely irrelevant non- medical advice. Talked over me like I had never experienced and was wrong about 90% of what she was saying. I knew she decided the second she saw me that I was “fine” and did not want to hear any of my complaints. She listened to my heart for 2 seconds in the wrong location (yes I am serious) and said “sounds great” (I was bradycardic with a heart murmur). Her abdominal assessment was poking me with two fingers in the button of my pants and saying “no pain?” Abdominal assessments are done lying down and are much more extensive than this. As a retired cardiac RN, I am horrified that she is practicing medicine. The next person who leaves her office may not be lucky enough to write a bad review.

I have been seeing Dr. Bishai for less than a year after moving my medical care from the Boston area to the Cape. I've been impressed with her kind manner and her thorough approach to health. I have found everyone in the practice to be patient, respectful and friendly. I'm very glad I finally changed providers.

I have always found Dr. Bishai to be kind and caring. She is concerned my records are up to date and she has always been able to help me with any issues I may have

She is rude, never listens, she interrupts, interjects her comments before one can answer, she can never find your records in your chart, ignores patients symptoms or complaint. If you like being ignored, like to be treated rudely, by all means see her, Susan and nurse staff are great! Find a new Dr. And QUICK!

Dr Bishai was rude and insulting at my last appointment and I have now left the practice.

She is awful. I would go into her office, go over everything with her nurse (I should mention that both nurses I met were absolutely wonderful) and she would come in, barely say hello and ask me a question, and proceed to talk over me while I'm trying to answer her question and talk to the nurse and point to computer. She never listened to me and when I expressed concern, she brushed me off. She was short, rude, cold, has zero bedside manner and when I left, I felt worse than when I got there

Horrible! It was a waste of time. We waited for over an hour. Then she kept leaving the room. It was obvious that all she cared about was the paperwork. She did nothing to diagnose or treat the condition. I have now spent the whole summer in pain and trying to find a new doctor. A waste of time and money. And bad for my health as my condition is now chronic.
