Dr. Magda Louka, DO

My wife called for an appt since she was experiencing lower abdomen pain. She went in at 4:02pm and was out 4:06pm ! Dr told her to get an ultrasound as soon as possible. Where on a Friday night? No help from the doctor….who is by the way affiliated with Centrastate Healthcare system. Doctor can’t call and say we are coming????? Long story longer….it’s now almost 9 pm and we just got a room in ER. I’m guessing it will another 5-6 hours for the registration, copay, vitals, ultra sound, results, etc . So glad it didn’t ruin your Friday night doc! By the way, our daughter is resident and first year doc and I can guarantee she will never take her patients health for granted! Flat out disappointing!

My wife saw this DO recently complained of having AFIB and an open sore on her leg. She had a stethoscope about her neck, but never used it and sent us to see a cardiologist. Had a open sore on her foot and I had to suggest bandaging it.

Dr Magda Louka has been my primary care physician for the past 5 years. I testify to the fact that she is patient centered doctor who listens and encourages patient to clearly explain their situation to be properly diagnosed and treated. She has good human and interpersonal relations. I observe that she has good rapport with co workers.I give her the highest commendations in the ratings.

I’ve had Dr. Louka for years she’s been nothing but helpful with all my issues over that time. I was very happy with the services she has provided for me.

Dr. Louka has been my primary care doctor for a few years and she is one of the best doctors I have seen. Her manner with me is always professional and caring. She takes her time to thoroughly listen and reviews my chart to follow up on any issues I've have had in the past. She always addresses my concerns and makes me feel comfortable to express them. She's very knowledgeable and takes a whole-person approach when diagnosing and treating. I never feel rushed or like someone is just throwing prescriptions at me. Highly reccommend!

My 1st time appointment with Dr. Louka was a great experience. She was friendly and this made me comfortable in explaining my concerns regarding my conditions. She was very patient in answering my questions. I feel very confident in her expertise and would recommend her to friends and family.

I was referred to Dr. Louka by my sister. She kept raving about the quality of care she always receives from her and her assisting staff. Finally, after many months, I scheduled an appointment for an annual physical. I was instantly treated like I was important and that my health, mentally and physically, was treated appropriately. Dr. Louka has a kind and caring bedside manner. To me, being I'm a bit up on age, I immediately felt that I was in excellent hands. I consider Dr. Louka as an excellent internal medicine doctor. As a new patient, she listened to me and proceeded to order test and prepare the necessary referrals to address my current illness and concerns. I'm very happy that I was referred to Dr. Louka, as I've found a doctor that is concerned about my well being. I believe and look forward to being her patient as long as she'll have me. I certainly rate her 5 star doctor.

My experience as well as anyone who awaited an appointment with Dr. Magda Louka shared a genuine pleasant experiences with me of their previous visits with her. So anyone who says that she is rude is blatantly telling a falsehood. Her character does not contain an ounce of rudeness.

Dr. Louka is a caring and professional doctor that takes pride in her job to ensure the wellness of her patients. She ask questions concerning your health that makes you feel welcomed and better anytime you visit her office. She has excellent people skills which makes her very personable and gregarious. She makes my parents laugh all the time. We love having her as our primary care physician.

Dr. Louka has been my primary care provider for over 5 years. She really takes her time to listen to your issues if you have any concerns. She does not rush you through your appointment to get to the next and I greatly appreciated that. I would recommend to my family, friends and co-workers.

I have been seeing Dr. Louka for a couple of years now and would never change to any other doctor. She is very comfortable to talk to and very understanding about my medical conditions. Dr. Louka is one of the best doctor's I've had so far. She took her time with me with me and made sure I understood everything during my visit. Horrible experience. She wasn't pleasant or showed any concern with my health complaints. She was extremely rude to me when I asked her questions pertaining to my health. My appt was also rushed. She wasn't polite at all. I'll NEVER see her again even if my life depended on it

Genuinely a terrible doctor, very rude, condescending, disrespectful and uncaring. forget about going above and beyond, she won't even do the bare minimum and would lie to you on your face.

A warm and caring medical professional can best describe Dr. Louka. She exhibits a sincere interest in insuring that I am in good health. In this past visit, we discussed the results of some of the tests that i undertook and future specialists' referrals. It is my good fortune that Dr, Louka is now associated with Avantage Care in Staten Island.

Dr. Magda Louka is an excellent doctor! I am 67 years old and have a lifelong history of dreading doctor visits. I do not feel this when I have an appointment with Dr. Magda Louka. Dr. Louka makes me feel comfortable. She listens and asks insightful questions that persuade me to share information and she gives diagnoses and advise that I trust.
