Dr. Alam and his staff have set an environment where care for patients is blatantly neglected. He claims to be serving his community yet stopped taking medicaid insurance to serve his pockets. I waited over an hour to see him for a routine checkup that was overdue because of his staff's neglect. He is extremely rude especially to HIS community. To whomever is reading this, please make the extra drive to see another health care provider that cares for your wellbeing.

My experience with Dr. Alam was horrible. I initially went to him on a family referral bcz of chest pains. The only intervention he offered was statins, diet, and exercise. Go figure. I eventually took myself to the ER and was diagnosed with fluid around my heart. He offered no idea of possible causes. Office visits were no better. I asked 3x for a PAD test. Still no test. On two visits, he left the examining room to take phone calls. The first time, I could hear him talking about a computer issue and he did not return for 15mins. This past visit, I complained of chest pains and resting heart rate that exceeded 120 on several occasions. The nurse took my blood pressure at 140 over something. He took it again and said it was 130 over something He said I did not need blood pressure medicine at this time and abruptly left the room to take a phone call. Ironically, this call was about computers as well. After 12 minutes, I walked out. New cardiologist. My life depends on it!
