Kind and understanding Dr
Dr Al Masry is an excellent pain Dr. His knowledge of neurology is definitely a big plus. He's very kind and a good listener. I'm very sad that Nashoba Pain management has to close due to the hospital closing. Its very hard to find a great pain Dr anymore.

Horrible pain Doctor
Didn’t even care to look at MRI, just said I shouldn’t be in this much pain. Totally dismissive of my pain and wasn’t treated very well. Avoid this doctor. If you are in serious pain try your own primary care team. This guy is useless.

Best experience
Dr.Al Masry went above and beyond to explain my condition in away no other physician has done before. He reviewed the MRI with me and explained the findings on the images and compared them to the previous MRI pointing to the differences. The staff in the office were so nice and supportive.

Useless
He was an hour late (for a 930 appointment, how are you that far behind already?) with no acknowledgment of it. He was totally unprepared. I had an mri to see why my migraines have increased. I was there for the results and he didn’t even know I had the imaging and he couldn’t find the results. He finally finds them and spends less than 5 seconds looking at them and says, “nothing too concerning, so anything else I can do for you?” You can’t make this up. Obviously I say I want some help finding out why the migraines have increased. He thinks the increase isn’t a problem. I say, “I’m just doing simple math but they have gone up 1000x this year and you don’t think that’s a problem??” He says no because I don’t get them daily and basically shooed me away. Total waste of time and a totally unprofessional way to run an appointment. AVOID!
