Dr. Malini Venkatram, MD

Sincerity and a down-to-earth on everything.

While I believe she is experienced and knowledgeable, she tends to talk at you vs with you. Many times she recommends something for a minor problem that I am really just looking for validation that this is 'normal' for my diagnosis. If you question her, she can get quite pointed in her response. She sometimes seems quite rushed, other times not. She is only doing telehealth for foreseeable future which is just not what I want- that may be something others want. Her receptionist is very nice, but Dr does go through them frequently. Every time I am done with an appointment, I vow to change Drs...... I guess satisfaction depends upon what you are looking for.

My mother has been dealing with debilitating osteoarthritis in her hips, Dr. Venkatram cancelled their first appointment. My mother said to the receptionist that she had already read the MRI reports herself and thought she should just see a surgeon but the receptionist told her that Venkatram reads the reports before appointments and if surgery was necessary she would have already called to suggest that. My mom went to the appointment and Venkatram read the MRI for the first time in the appointment and then suggested seeing a surgeon. My mother could have called a surgeon over a month ago if Venkatram had just read the report. This is medical neglect.

I think she is thorough and I liked that she was willing to work with me on my issues in a full spectrum. She does traditional medication, but also recommends holistic options also.

She tries very hard to answer my questions. She is always kind and tries to get answers to make me feel better. I have been very happy with her. She even fit me in one day when I was in so much pain, she told me to come on over. I am very happy with her.

Dr.Venkatram is an angel ?? a gift from God. She has help me so much in just a short time. I h i have chronic pain and some other stuff for years. T hree different Dr.s I felt like it fell on deaf ears i felt like I was the crazy one. She listened to everything you say and she is so good and figures it out to help you. If you have chronic pain please please see her you will ?? her like I do she figured out what was happen to me.

Don’t try an input anything, she already knows. Ask a question and it all related to old age, when I know some is related to nerves going bad. Talks to fast to really totally understand what she saying.

So I’ve been calling since the 13th on my first appointment the doctor told me to call right after my telehealth meeting and nobody has even responded back I’ve left a message every day even the days they were closed I thought everything was good through the telehealth I did what I had to do picked up my prescriptions did my bloodwork and now I have received for the third day calls from a telehealth asking me what kind of drugs do I need do I need therapy do I need any assistance in and out of my home they knew everything about me. Nobody answers at this office and honestly to have a third-party know as much as they do about me I don’t know if I appreciate that they call me say this is telehealth we have nine important messages from your hospital visit and then they offer me all these solutions is this legit is this real I won’t even talk to them I don’t know who they are. I think she’s way over her head and take care of so many people maybe she don’t have time all the

After waiting for almost 1.5 hours I saw the Dr. I was told i have Psoriatic Arthritis. Recommended i get blood work but wouldn't be able to follow up with me for 6 to 8 weeks due to a planned vacation. I expressed my frustration but asked if there was anything I can do at home for diet or home remedies that could help until the next visit. Was told she wouldn't discuss the home remedies until the next appointment. If you are planning a vacation and know bloodwork is necessary for treatment you should not be scheduling new appointments until you are actually able to treat your patient in a timely manner. I wasn't asking for a miracle cure but something to do homeopathically until I can be seen again. After stating I would not come back, she tried to continue stating that seeing me sooner was not physically capable. I tried calling the office to speak with a manager to express my frustration and the office would not answer the phones.

Super fantastic I have Fibromyalgia. Didn't have much Faith that it would ever be healed. Mostly from stuff I've read. But, to my amazement... ???? She cured me!!!!!!! I was so sore just to touch my arm would hurt. Now, I could take a punch... Thank you so very much!!!! Love you Lesson learned keep the Faith!!!!! Yeah!!!!! hugs

New staff is great

Went there for to see if I have rheumatoid arthritis. She did mulitiple tests, I think all the she could order that my insurance would cover. I went back to hear the results and she just yes you have rheumatoid arthritis. When asked why she thought that as all results were normal she just said it was a clinical diagnosis so the testing was all for not. She then wanted to put on meds and schedule ongoing appointments. Just seemed like a money grab. Didn't give anything to convince me other wise as to why all the testing and how she came to here conclusion. She didn't like that I challenged her about the results being normal on all tests.

Have been seeing Dr. Venkatram for a while. I'm very impressed with her thoughtful and careful planning approach to my healthcare. She understands my health situation and has developed a long term plan for my recovery. Cannot say enough good things about her medical and communication skills. Feel total respect for her medical insights and abilities.
