Dr. Malti Dave, MD

I have multiple rare diseases (EDS is just one) I saw Dr. Dave years ago for injections in my neck. They kinda helped. Just this year, I went back & decided NOT to have them again. Dr.Dave tried to tell me my degenerative disease COULDN'T of changed(I have films to prove it did) Something changed. I didn't feel calm or comfortable like before. The atmosphere was VERY anxiety inducing. The office was dark, &run down looking. Her secretary was beyond rude. *Dr.Dave is now retired.*

I would NEVER recommend Dr Dave to anyone. She made my already terrible pain from an accident 80% worse. My quality of life has been cut in more than half after her treating me. Then, after trying to explain to her how much more I was in pain, she stood and folded her arms across her chest and actually closed her eyes. Like that way she couldn't hear what I was trying to say to her. Like a little child would do if they didn't want to hear what was being told to them. I was knocked over.

My rheumatologist recommended Dr. Dave when my pain levels started to impact my productivity. I have a "rare" genetic condition (EDS) that causes hypermobility and widespread pain, both chronic and at times acute. We decided on a treatment plan and with it I have been able to continue to work full time and lead a productive life, even as my symptoms worsen. Dr. Dave is knowledgeable, compassionate (but not a pushover!) and seems truly interested in my well-being. I will continue to recommend.

Dr.Dave was excellent at explaining the procedure and talked to me throughout the whole appointment. I would highly recommend her in the future.

Treats patients like criminals and doesn't provide adequate pain control.

Dr. Dave has given me many injections and has done selective root ablation. She has always explain to me exactly what's going to happen and she explains what she's doing while she's doing it. She always asks if I'm in discomfort and is genuinely concerned about me as a human. I would recommend Dr. Dave to anyone who is in the unfortunate situation of needing her services. I have an extremely bad back and I am young. I've seen Dr. Dave for approximately 10 years.

I am a 100% disabled combat veteran. Dr Dave refused to listen to or understand my issues and talked down to me. She is rude and condescending. I haven't been talked down to or disrespected like this in quite some time. My PCM appologized for sending me there and said this is not the first complaint she has recieved concerning this "Dr". Go somewhere else if your dignity matters.

Dr. Dave is the most caring, calming doctor I have ever dealt with. She is very good at what she does and she took away my anxiety immediately.
