A gem!
Dr. Kate’s is a gem! He is one of the best I’ve seen since moving into the Warwick area. He cares for each one of his patients. He answered all my questions and explained what was going on with my husbands vision.

Unfortunately, he is a nice man, but I think he should not be doing cataract surgery. I have had several complications due to him tearing lens capsule, which he did not inform me of until complications arose. Severe swelling and retinal inflammation, requiring an ER visit & further specialized care by retinologist for shot in eyeball. And they are still billing me! I realize some of these are side effects but, I knew something was wrong right away and was told to get a good pair of lowest power reading glasses.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Kates today. I was very pleased with my visit. He was friendly and attentive. He actually took his time, explained everything and listened to my concerns, instead of trying to rush me along. The office staff was very friendly as well. I did have to wait about 40 minutes but I think a good doctor is worth the wait. I would definitely recommend him.

We met Dr Kates when our daughter had an eye injury and we have seen him frequently since. He has been very considerate and attentive to her needs and detailed his concerns and recommendation giving 100% to her while treating her . He has a great manner and a nice staff working with him.
