Dr. Manish Gupta, MD

I was always kept waiting after scheduled appointments. After several consultations Dr Gupta replaced my right knee & the pain afterwards was terrible. He just prescribed more pain relief & rehab. 9 moths later I saw a different surgeon in Margate who decided I needed revision surgery. Sure enough he discovered a damaged PCL & incorrect knee joint so no wonder I suffered so much pain. Do not have knee replacement by Dr Gupta.

WORST Doctor I have ever encountered. Spent less than one minute with me, left the room, and never came back. Told the assistant that I still have questions for Dr. Gupta, was told to wait, but the doctor still never came back in to see me. Assistant came back and kept pushing a procedure that wasn’t covered under an insurance on me. I have mentioned that I cannot afford it and is not interested. I proceeded to ask if the doctor was coming back in to see me, he said “No, I don’t think so”. I spent $75 co-pay for less than one minute of Dr. Gupta telling me “I guess, you’ll need an injection”. I was told that they will need my insurance approval before giving me the injection… in which I would have had to pay another $75 for another visit just for injection. Waste of money. Everyone in that office treated me like I was just a number. They did not care about my pain or my well being at all. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO BE SEEN AS A HUMAN.

I was in extreme back pain and needed help. I went to get treatment and was told I had to wait for insurance approval before I could get the injection the doctor recommended. On the third day, no one communicates back with me. i called back and spoke to "Redish" , a man and he said the insurance was denied and they will have a peer-to-peer that same afternoon. i called the insurance and they told me there was never a request for treatment, so i called back the doctor's office and I was told by the front desk that the doctor's assistant has not yet been able to send my request. Is clear that this office lies and doesn't care about the patients. The doctor spent a few seconds with me, I do not recommend this group to my worst enemy. Horrible feeling to find out you are being lied to when you are in extreme pain.

Had a great experience at Sports and Orthopedic Center. Dr. Gupta was extremely knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything to me so I really understood what was going on. Felt totally confident in Dr. Gupta and his entire team. Got me back to feeling healthy in no time.

Dr Gupta was highly recommended to me by my physician friends who I trust. He repaired my torn rotator cuff 20 weeks ago and did an amazing job. I followed his instructions, went to therapy and now I’m back training safely.

I have been seeing Dr. Manish Gupta for something over 3 years now and he has repaired both my shoulders. The short story is that there is no better orthopedic surgeon out there than Dr. Gupta and I would not even consider going to anyone else. I am a nearly 57 year old man that has been far to hard on his body over the years, while still holding myself to very high physical standards. Three weeks out from surgery on my right shoulder I am amazed. Very little pain and passive ROM is over 90%. My goal at 57 is a 300lb overhead log press, and I have no doubt that the services of Dr. Manish Gupta will allow me to achieve this goal. If you care about ultimate performance over a warm and fuzzy hand holding experience, Dr. Gupta is your best choice.

I’m not the patient but I am her daughter who waited and waited for Dr Gupta to at the least,inform me after surgery. Let me know my mother was ok. Only to find out he LEFT the building without so much as a word to the family waiting in the waiting room. Just toooooo busy? To talk to the family? Seems to me he could use some basic common sense. We need to be informed after you finish. Not a call later while we sit and wait!!! Is that too hard

After getting and MRI on a bicep tear and showing it to Dr.Gupta he told me that the surgery is very easy and that the MRI showed the that the tendon in my bicep could be reattached without any complications. He scheduled me for surgery MONTHS later and after waking up from the anesthesia with two large scars on my arm, my bicep was still torn! He simply stated “I wish I could’ve seen you earlier.” He didn’t fix my arm, there was no refund and he didn’t give me any other options. He doesn’t care

If you are in search of an orthopedic surgeon look no further than the practice of Manish Gupta, M.D. I have been actively involved in the south Florida medical community for 35 years and can assure you that Dr. Gupta is considered to be the "Doctors Doctor" for physicians and their families. In 2015 I underwent a minimally invasive anterior total hip replacement. I was walking the day of surgery and home one day post-operatively. His PT facility had me long-distance cycling In 90 days.

I had a partial knee replacement with help of robotics performed by Dr Gupta. I was out of the hospital the same day. I was walking within a week without a cane. Four months later I am playing racquetball. Very happy with the whole process.

My daughters experience with Dr. Gutpa was horrendous. My daughter is a college athlete and has experienced excruciating pain in her shoulder that wakes her up at night. She wanted to inquire about a cortisone shot or other treatment. She took her MRI as requested by the doctor and rudely told, she "should have know an x-ray was protocol". He repeatedly said nothing is wrong with my daughter and asked the "college school trainer" to write my daughter a prescription for an anti-inflammatory.

from our first meeting, Dr. Gupta made me feel that I was in good hands. We explored all other options prior to recognizing that surgery was the only solution, which says a lot about someone who makes their living performing surgery. From his office staff to his amazing PA, they made a generally anxious experience as pleasant as possible. I am several months post op, full hip replacement, and his timeline for rehab was right on the money! Without question I would recommend Dr. Gupta!

My shoulder needed surgery after a bike accident. I fully trusted Dr Gupta's diagnosis and ability to perform the surgery. I'm glad I did. I can now work out and have been been back to work. Thank you Dr Gupta.

I live in Tampa which is exactly a 4 1/2 hour drive to Dr. Gupta's office. My friend had his shoulder and knee worked on and recommended me since I have similar injuries. I travelled yesterday and met Dr. Gupta and his staff. I was so impressed!! He is the nicest physician I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He reviewed my shoulder mri and then thoroughly explained how he was going to surgically repair it. I also brought knee x-rays and he looked at them and gave me his thoughts. 5 STAR DR

Dr. Gupta is a compassionate, gifted surgeon who truly cares about his patients. As a registered nurse, I made sure that the physician I selected for treating my hip osteoarthritis was the very best in the area. I am now one year postop from my hip replacement, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Everyone in his office is extremely professional and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a family member to Dr. Gupta for any orthopedic problem. He really is a wonderful physician.

I met Dr. Gupta in April of 2016. He was highly recommended to me by the individual whose home I purchased. Dr. Gupta was very clear and straight forward with his diagnosis. He not only demonstrated his desire to help me but showed a genuine concern for me as an individual. The few doctors I've been to for my "knee" pain only sent their PAs with no actual face to face dialogue with the surgeons themselves. Dr. Gupta deals with the whole person not just the symptoms.
