Dr. Manoj Mehta, MD

He did not help me with my IBS. He was rude and condescending to me a 73 year old woman. My primary care doctor totally disagreed with Mehta’s evaluation. He said I will never get better! Run away from this doctor if you are a woman looking for help with IBS.

I met Dr Mehta in the ED of Evanston Hospital where I’d gone with some alarming symptoms. He reassured me immediately and pushed me into his schedule for a colonoscopy just three days later. From the moment I arrived at the facility, which actually resembles a spa!, I felt well taken care of by his entire staff- from front desk to amazing, thoughtful anesthesiology team members- who worked hard to keep me calm and comfortable. After the procedure, Dr Mehta explained what he saw, possible conditions (NOT cancer!), and first line of treatment while we waited for biopsies to come back. He messaged me on a Sunday, letting me know that we were on the right track with treatment and followed up with me again via message through the health systems portal. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I have had many colonoscopies in ny life and can honestly say this was the most “Zen” (not a word usually associated with an emergency colonoscopy!). Highly recommend!

Listened carefully, but that was all he did. No further attempt to work on the issues I complained about. Did not suggest any tests, treatment or anything else.... So useless!

Dr Mehta has been my Dr for 18 years now. I wouldn’t even consider going to another Dr. Every procedure I’ve had has been great. Now my Mom, Sister and Husband have all gone to him and also are very happy with how we are taken care of and treated.

Dr. Mehta is the best Doctor I have ever been to in my entire adult life , he’s kind , and treats you with so much respect. He was the only Dr that was able to diagnose me with my health problem, I’m so happy doctors like him exist.

Dr. Mehta and his staff are very comfortable to talk with. They make sure all your needs are met. The Colonoscopy prep and exam, I found to be better than my previous exams. The team is very professional and comforting. You won't be disappointed in choosing this doctor and his staff.

Dr. Mehta is a friendly and caring physician. He explained my medical needs and recommended procedures in a very clear, understandable manner, after thoroughly reviewing my medical background. I have found him to be highly competent in his field of gastroenterology.

If I could give more than five stars I totally would. I have been with Dr. Mehta for fifteen years, since I was a teenager, and he is one of the best doctors I've ever met. I was supposed to see a partner of his at first but the scheduling got messed up so I ended up seeing him and I am so happy how it worked out. Dr. Mehta takes a personal interest in me and even though I only see him once a year he doesn't forget any details. I have an unusual case and he goes above and beyond to get answers.

Dr. Mehta and his staff were efficient but friendly. I felt well cared for. There was very little waiting time. I was at his facility, the Endoscopy Center of the North Shore, for a colonoscopy. About an hour after I walked into the center, the nurse was calling my wife to pick me up.
