Dr. Manuel Camejo, MD

I went to see him after I was diagnosed with a fibroid and told to see a gynecologist. He tried to prescribe me birth control even though I was already on birth control, and it wasn't helping the heavy bleeding. I went to try to pick up the medication he prescribed anyway, and it was $600 with no generic available. He refused to prescribed me anything cheaper and refused to do surgery because he wanted me to have children. I saw a different gynecologist who is going to do surgery.

Dr. Camejo is a great OB he delivered 2 of my babies. He is a very caring Dr. he always takes his time to talk with you.The staff are kind also

I initially saw him for an emergency consult before surgery, he didn’t read my chart (his words-he read it after I begged his nurse to have him do so) and walked in the room stating he was going to perform an exam on me when I was only supposed to be in office for a consult. That whole appointment he was very unresponsive as if he had already made his mind up about my case. The whole appointment felt rushed and as if he had no interest in me as a patient. I saw him for a few minutes before my surgery and he was fine. I started getting very sick a week after and went back to him for a post op - he seemed inconvenienced to see me and was extremely dismissive of all my symptoms and wrote them off as “normal” even though I already had two other doctors tell me these were all symptoms of major infection and I urgently needed to see him. I ended up in the ER the next day with an infection. I’m grateful for him performing my surgery but will be establishing care with a different provider.

I have been a patient of him for 25 years,and can say nothing but good aboUT him.He is an excellent doctor.I refer everyone I know to him

Such a down to earth doctor along with his wife. He was very attentive and very caring about any and all concerns I had during my pregnancy. He was very involved, polite, and patient. His staff is also great. Bummed he won’t be delivering my second child due to having too many ob patients. If I could rate him 10 stars I would!

Wonderful doctor and amazing staff! Wish he had delivered all of my babies. Never have I ever had a more caring OB.

I like Dr. Camejo as a doctor when he finally gets in to see me but the wait time is terrible. I've waited for over 2 hours to see him one day before rescheduling just as he was walking into the office. No one informed me ahead of time that he would be late nor did they tell me when I checked in; I found out after they had taken my blood pressure and then they told me he was running "a little behind." A normal waiting time for me to see him after checking in is no less than 40 minutes

Dr. Comejo and his staff are and always have been so wonderful to me! He truly takes time to explain everything in a clear manner and has a true concern when an urgent visit is required. His bedside manner is the best I have experienced in Springfield. After many unsuccessful searches, 7 to be exact, for a great Gyno, I am proud to say Dr. Comejo and his staff have confidently filled that spot!

I have been seeing different doctors about pelvic pain and bleeding without success. I saw Dr. Camejo and in about three months he help me regulate my periods and treated my pain. He has greaz bedside manners. I love Dr. Camejo and his staff.

I hold Drs I see up to high standards, I'm very picky and I'll say Dr Camejo and his staff were wonderful, very pleasant and nice, very knowledable, I didn't feel rushed whatsoever and when I had a lot to say they listened to every word and was interested, he took time with me and I felt I was his focus not rushing me out to get to the next patient, I would HIGHLY recommend him and his nurse Logan was just as great, very knowledable very nice and very focused on me and why I was there
