Toxic Staff and Doctor
I have JUST had the MOST DISTRESSING, UNETHICAL, almost CRIMINAL experience! My hands are shaking as I write this. Besides feeling sick from being verbally assaulted by Dr. Kazi and his staff, I am sad because I thought he cared about me. :(I used to defend Dr. Kazi and have loved him as my primary physician for 5 years - BUT I'M HERE TO SAY THAT DR. KAZI HIMSELF HAS CHANGED MY OPINION!!To nutshell it, ever since my appointment the staff has treated me like all of the bad reviews and complaints detail. Rather than leave a bad review, I emailed him on his personal email expressing my concerns. In the mean time (today) I got a call from his office where I was harassed and gas lit by Sarah, Jessica and Shaz. To my total shock, Dr. Kazi himself jumped on the call and after screaming at me, he hung up on me!! My trusted doctor hung up on me without hearing me out. His staff is sure skilled at keeping Dr. In the dark by gaslighting his patients. My heart is broken

THE BEST OF THE BEST
I am incredibly grateful to have Dr. Kazi as my primary care physician. From my very first visit almost eight years ago, he showed genuine concern and interest for my well-being and provided excellent medical care. He has an awesome bedside manner and his friendly and compassionate demeanor would put anyone at ease. I ran into a few of his peers in the ER after an accident, and they all had the utmost regard and respect for him as I do. I consider myself lucky to have him as my PCP.

The wait times are unbelievable!! I was told when making my appointment that Dr. Kazi needed to see me, because it had been a year since my last appointment. (I was making an appointment for a referral NOT a visit because I was sick) My appointment was at 11:45am, I was put in a room about 12:00pm and SAT there until 1:25pm when a nurse or PA finally came in to see me (said Dr. Kasi was too busy, but yet the receptionist said I HAD to see him) she spent a whole 5 minutes with me. Definitely would not recommend this office. The front office staff has NO idea what they are doing when they are scheduling appointments did not accommodate my times at all, but yet they make you wait hours to be seen after your appointment time, like your time is not valuable.

Horrible! Can't believe this place is still open! Dr Kazi is never there! Staff is horrible! Doesn't answer calls or even returns a call. The front Desk Guy has no clue what he is doing. This place should be investigated. Are providers even Licensed there????

I visited this doctor whenever I go to Palm Desert on my vacation. His office is very clean, hygienic, and professionally equipped. The doctor and his NP both are very friendly and highly knowledgeable. They fulfill all my medical needs and take care of my health issue to the level where I completely feel in good, responsible, and professional hands. That's the reason we visit the doctor, right. His office staff sometimes take time in doing their job and sometimes it takes time to reach the right personnel but in the end, everything gets done. In short Dr. Kazi and his medical and diagnostic skills are worthy enough to ignore some shortcomings from his staff.

I’m new in the desert, I have special needs including once a month INR Blood work. For days I could not get through to my Dr. Kazi office, when the call was received it was dropped several times. They could not complete a standing order to LabCorp or tell me why LabCorp never received it. No exaggeration run away from this one man medical office disaster. They ask what’s your date of birth 20 times as they have zero idea how to complete the simplest process. A total Disaster, with the worst communication I have ever been involved with. I repeat runaway from this office unless you want the worst service possible. The Doctor seem capable but everything else was simply the worst.

Genuinely confused after my visit here. Got a letter that dr. Kazi was my new primary care doctor and he would like to see me for a check up. Went in got checked by 2 different people pretty much just checked my breathing I never saw then doctor ? I expressed my concerns and problems I have been having they informed me that I would get tests done okay so I’m sitting there and the fd agent come in with a paper telling me I’m done I’m like so confused at that point not even sure what to do next. this is my first time visit I have to ask him what’s next and he tells me to go next door? The paper is a referral to get an X-ray next door okay so I go and the x ray tech isn’t even available It’s like 10 minutes prior to Their office closing. Not sure what happened with the blood work they told me I would get or the additional referral I asked for? I’m so confused ? ?? I never even saw the doctor and the paperwork took longer to fill out than my appt. did. I left with no resolution at all?

I just tried to make an appointment with Dr. Kazi. After 20 minutes on the phone speaking with the intake person, I still did not end up with an appointment. I did give my DOB, etc at least three times. I am not sure why; it was not explained. This is really distressing. I may have to choose another provider through my plan.

I called to set up this office as my PCP, the young lady was very nice and took all my info and we set up a telephone appointment with Megan. She never called at the time that I agreed to, I was never contacted to cancel the appointment. I did receive an email hours after the scheduled appointment time saying my appointment was canceled, and an additional email with a new appointment time....REALLY?? I never agreed to a new time, well guess what, I never received a call for the new time either. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! AVOID THIS OFFICE, KEEP LOOKING FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR.

Awful! Don’t waste your time! Staff did not mention Dr Kazi was not in & had a fill-in Dr. We waited TWO HOURS to see the Dr. We had an appointment, but this is also an urgent care facility. Staff told us we would be seen at our appointment time even though this is urgent care. When we complained about the long wait, they told us that they had booked THREE APPOINTMENTS FOR THE SAME TIME. THEN they told us that we didn’t HAVE an appointment & argued about it. Horrible service! DON’T GO HERE.

I love Dr. Kazi and his PA. The wait time in the office does suck. The office staff cant keep anything in order and never receives any faxes. Kate is the rudest office assistant I've ever known. Why she is allowed to keep a job dealing with customer service and care and representing a professional office is beyond me. But I endure all this crap because Dr. Kazi is worth it.

If you can get past the front office staff (Kate) you should be okay. She is so rude. They seem to have a black hole with regards to their fax system. Dr won't see you until your patient records are faxed over. I have physically watched over items being faxed, yet they say they never receive it. If you can avoid front office staff, you should be good

First time I saw Dr. Kazi they told me I could just come on in. After waiting for 3.5 hours he came in and visited with me for just over 2 minutes.... Then I waited for another 30 min for my RX to be printed. Now, as I type this, I'm waiting yet again and this time I made an appointment. I'm still waiting and the appointment t was 2 hours ago... He's also not up to date with newer medications. This guy needs to stop taking new patients because he can't take care of the ones he has. - very sad
