Review for Dr. Marc Dubin, Hunt Valley, MDI recently visited Dr. Marc Dubin for tinnitus management and was very disappointed with the experience. Dr. Dubin reviewed my medical history for less than a minute and did not conduct a physical examination to rule out potential issues like earwax blockage. Additionally, he recommended a place in Baltimore for further treatment but did not provide a name or contact information, which was very frustrating.Overall, I felt that my visit was a total waste of time and did not meet the standard of care I expected. Having visited other ENT doctors, I believe there are many who lack the necessary knowledge and thoroughness in treating tinnitus. Unfortunately, Dr. Dubin’s approach left me feeling dissatisfied and undervalued as a patient.

Dr. Dubin was very patient with my visit. I didn’t feel rushed as So many Drs are. I felt confident with my decision for surgery.

Dr. Dubin is a very skilled sinus surgeon and an outstanding provider. I had surgery a number of years ago-with an excellent result — and saw him recently for another ENT problem. It was clear that he had likely been on call and up all night but he was thoughtful and helpful. He communicated well, explaining the current problem and the therapeutic plan. I recommend him wholeheartedly as a superb clinician and provider.

This otolaryngologist/surgeon did not jump to surgery but eventually the condition led to a ballon sinuplasty. Performed in the office, the procedure was successful, not for the faint of heart, but pain free after the numbing cotton and injections. He is an expertly skilled professional whom I would trust with my family. Highly recommend Dr. Marc Dubin at GBMC. 12/5/2023

Dr Dubin is a no nonsense physician that honestly tries to get you feeling better.

Worst experience ever. I went to see Dr, Dubin because I was having trouble breathing out of the right side of my nose. After examining me Dr. Dubin said it looked like the trouble may be because the turbinate may be blocking air flow. He said it may or may not help my breathing but that if it did not work then we would be back were we started. Oh, only if that were true. He went in and ripped out my turbinate and I have been in pain on the right side ever since his little quest. I should have checked before hand because one thing that is recommended is that you never remove the turbinate because it warms the air entering your sinuses. After having so much pain I made another appointment at his office only with another doctor, that Dr. said sorry nothing could be done. I guess Dr. Dubin forgot about the “do no harm” because I would certainly prefer blocked air flow to the pain I’m in.

Came in for chronic sinus or reflux issues. Looking for more effective treatment than I'd found in past. Required thorough explanation of pretty mundane but recurrent and discomforting symptoms. Doctor listened, proposed three paths, chose one and we proceeded.

Dr. Dubin has effectively treated me for chronic sinusitis, including multiple sinus surgeries, for nearly 10 years. He is professional, friendly, patient, efficient, and extremely thorough. He attentively listens to my sinus complaints and or symptoms; provides an accurate diagnosis,and successfully resolve the issue. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Dubin is very thorough and listen when a patient speaks. He doesn’t try to rush you out. He is great at explaining everything as it’s happening. Will recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Dubin is terrific and I have been fortunate to have him as my doctor for almost 20 years. He is very accommodating, listens well, and provides excellent treatment.

Bilateral long term sinus issues were carefully diagnosed and successfully treated with a full sinuplasty under general anesthesia. Visits and follow-ups are always on time with minimal waits. My opinion: very satisfied!

Though I have had problems with Dr. Dublin’s manner, I have no reason to question his competence, and his staff is wonderful. One person kindly helped me find my way back to my car.

I've been a patient of Dr. Dubin's for many years and have found him to be very much a patient advocate. Having struggled with sinus issues for many years, he has me in as good a shape as I have been in years. He respects my time and the cost of visits/medications and tries to keep the expenses to a minimum, which is greatly appreciated!! Dr. Dubin diagnosed a problem causing ongoing sinus infection and prescribed a treatment plan which is working very well. He explained things clearly and planned follow up care before I left the office. Treatment involved removal of an abscessed tooth and Dr. Dubin spoke with my dentist before this procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Dubin and I am grateful for his expert care and kindness.

I have been suffering from all kinds of sinus issues for most of my life. In the last 5 years, I totally lost my taste and smell because my sinuses were so blocked. I was recommended to Dr. Dubin by my regular ENT who could no longer help me. On my first visit he said "yup, you have a very bad situation, but you are in the right place". He performed surgery and I have not had an issue since! My taste, smell is all back! He is very educated and thorough. So glad I met him!!!!

Dr. Dubin is an exceptional physician. He listens to your concerns, pinpoints problems, and creates a plan to treat them. Beyond bright, he's also a fantastic surgeon. If you have a nose and can't breathe through it, see Dr. Dubin!
