After my son sustained a concussion, I sought medical attention at Island Coast Pediatrics. However, what followed was a series of incompetence and neglect on their part. Despite the urgency of the situation, I was forced to wait for over a week just to request a referral to see a neurologist. To make matters worse, when I finally received the referral, it was for autism, completely unrelated to my son's concussion. It was evident that the staff at Island Coast Pediatrics had not bothered to review my son's medical history or address our concerns adequately. My son endured four months of suffering from a concussion, and each step of the way I had to plead and beg repeatedly for the correct referral, treatment options, resorting to numerous emails and texts just to get the attention of the staff. It became evident that Island Coast Pediatrics prioritizes profit over patient care, as they seemed indifferent to my son's well-being.
