Greetings! My name is ivan Pena and a few years back I was blessed to cross paths with Dr Marsella. I was in the worst state of constant pain I have ever witnessed from herniated disc 10mm of my L5 S1. I wanted to give up it was so bad, and this man changed my life by giving it back to me. I am not saying he’s GOD but GOD definitely works with him. He made me feel welcomed and relaxed with in 5 minutes of meeting him and his team. I was never in the dark about the procedure and any insecurity I had from googling or YouTubing was out the window. If your reading my post and have doubts about having this procedure..DON’T! It will be the best decision of your life. Very grateful

Dishonest and untrustworthy. I do not recommend this doctor. His explanations about outcome of surgery was not truthful. I have no confidence in this doctor. Please obtain a second opinion before accepting him as a doctor.

Dr Marsella was strongly recommended by my wife’s radiation oncologist for ongoing treatment of a brain tumor secondary to breast cancer. We now strongly agree as well! He was very open, straightforward and good to deal with. Results were very good, and his opinions in conjunction with our oncologist’s guided us what we feel was the best possible outcome.

I really appreciate the candid and transparent way in which Dr. Marsella presents information. Being diagnosed with a brain tumor is shocking and emotional, and it really helps to have someone caring for you that 1) truly cares about your well-being and 2) discusses your procedure in a logical manner. His humility in consulting other surgeons on the best approach for my surgery spoke volumes about his leadership skills and his desire to attain optimal results. A top surgeon in his field!

I would recommend Dr. Marsella to anyone. He took his time to be thorough, explain my predicament and the best course of action. I ended up undergoing surgery and felt very confident going in that things would go well, it seems Dr Marsella is a bit of a rockstar among the staff at Phoenix Baptist Hospital and everyone seemed to agree that I was very lucky to have ended up with him since I didn't really have the option to shop around for surgeons. I'd go on but I've run out space...
