I have been seeing Dr. Allen 5+ years. I was referred to him by another opthamologist. They wanted to do a laser on my eye to seal - he said laser for this specifc issue - shows no benefit - so we have been watching diligently and I have had some improvement on my own. So, yes, I do trust him. Always have to wait but... I'll wait.

I will never see Dr. Allen again. I went to visit a few years ago for problems with my eyes, all I was told is that I would have to live with the blind spot. I went again last year to get it checked out again, since I am still having problems. This time it was oh did we not send you to a neuro? along with a vague explanation of what it could be.

I really like Dr Allen and highly recommend him. He is soft spoken and very reassuring. When he diagnosed my VMT he throughly explained the condition and what to look for if it worsen. Which it did. Before surgery he carful explain what the surgery envolved and the recovery. My recovery will be much quicker because of his early dedication.

I wish someone had told me this guy was horrible. I would never have come here! This family is the worst! Months of trash talking before people decide to defend themselves by the only means they can! Pathetic family!

Dr. Allen was great in performing surgery to re-attach my retina which was about 80 % detached. He saw me on a Wednesday afternoon and informed me that I would need to have the surgical procedure the following Friday. He did a very good job explaining the surgery without giving me all the details that would have scared me. He is very talented as a surgeon and my outcome has been very good. Very good aftercare and follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Allen.
