Grateful to have him as my PCP
Dr. Mayus was recommended to me by a trusted acquaintance. I have been lucky to have him as my primary care physician since 2015. I used to feel nervous about seeing doctors in general, but Dr. Mayus has utterly changed that. His bedside manner is second to none, and he manages to maintain a thoroughly professional attitude, while also being immensely kind and friendly. I don’t ever feel uncomfortable being 100% honest with him, as he listens and doesn’t overreact to anything. After every visit, whether a routine physical, or a sick visit, I invariably leave feeling reassured that I am in good hands, and lowered anxiety, regarding my health. His administrative staff are not as consistently helpful as I might like, but that is a small price to occasionally pay for peace of mind. He is a genuinely compassionate person, who takes his patient’s concerns seriously, and takes the time to clearly explain anything that arises. If he is an option, I cannot recommend a better doctor.

Superb
Between Dr. Mayus and one of the staff nurses, Drew, I couldn't imagine going to another doctor. The wait is never long, and the care is top-notch.

WORST PATIENT EXPERIENCE EVER
WORST PATIENT EXPERIENCE EVER. DIDN'T EXAMINE ME AT ALL DURING MY FIRST VISIT. JOTTED DOWN A FEW NOTES AND ORDERED LAB WORK. MY LAB WORK WAS SUBMITTED FOR A FEMALE DESPITE THE FACT THAT I'M A MALE, LEADING TO RESULTS THAT WERE MISLEADING AND SKEWED AND HEAVY PANIC ON MY PART. NUMEROUS CALLS TO HIS OFFICE WERE USELESS. HE FAILED TO SHOW FOR 2 TELEHEALTH VISITS. THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE COMPLETELY MISLEADING. DOESN'T ANSWER ANY MESSAGES THROUGH PATIENT PORTAL EITHER.

It was a pleasure to speak to a physician who took the time to understand my problem and had compassion for the effect it is having on my quality of life. A rare find in Medicine today.

I have been going to Dr. Mayus for years. His bedside manner is excellent. He truly cares for his patients. I am a 66 year old women and my son in law also goes to him and could not believe he treats me like I was one of his younger patients. He is everything you would want a doctor to be.

Dr. Mayus is everything a doctor should be. He's brilliant, he's kind, he's thorough, he's easy to talk with and you won't ever feel embarrassed about anything around him. I have been going to this practice since we moved here in 2007 and all of the doctors in this practice are great. They always make time for you if you have a problem. The office staff are all excellent. Front office staff Candace and Taylor. Ossi and Eileen and Jose are all great. Sorry I can't remember everyone!
