This happened several years ago. I was referred to him for severe muscle and joint pain, severe enough that I had to quit my job. My primary doctor suspected Fibromyalgia or something similar. I was very emotional at my appointment due to the fact that I had a lot of trouble finding specialists that would listen and because I was having difficulty raising my young child. Extreme pain and extreme fatigue take quite a toll on a person. He looked me over and immediately decided I was just overweight and depressed. After this very dismissive appointment, the doctor sent his visit notes to my psychiatrist saying I don't have Fibromyalgia, was fat, but that my mental health was 'well controlled', whatever that means. Luckily, I was a member of chronic illness groups online and was referred to someone else who did a thorough exam and stated I did, in fact, have several symptoms of Fibromyalgia. I am now doing much better and have actually quality of life, and was even able to return to work.

Terrible
Terrible; extremely dismissive. Had not read or reviewed information sent and then tried to scramble through information at the last minute. Poor assessment skills. Didn’t listen, wasted time trying to look up information in the system and used pet names to address the patient. Would not recommend and should have followed instinct in that other reviews said the same, his bad. Do not see.

Terrible
Awful bedside manner. Rude. Conceited. Does not perform exams himself, nor does he supervise his med students who do perform the exams. Then over-rides the student's observations. Chalks physical pain and issues up to "depression makes you THINK you're in pain, but you aren't" Was not able to name a single physical therapist in the entire town who treats Hypermobile patients. Hypermobility is incredibly common and a very normal condition for a rheumatologist to see. Incompetent. A shame to his profession.

Dr. Snow is a very caring, compassionate, and personable doctor. He genuinely saved my life with my APS diagnosis. I will refer everyone with any Rheumatoid issue, to go see him. Every time I was in the hospital, he came every day to check on me and go over labs/changes with me. He genuinely cares about his patients. I am beyond thankful that he is my Rheumatologist.

Do not recommend. I am an older patient and he is extremely dismissive of me. Does not listen to me. Do not know if it is because he is so young and lacks life experience. In my opinion not a good for for older patients.
