Dr. Margaret Lubega, MD

Dr. Lubega is rude, she like to offer her personal opinions over factual advice. If you’re a new mom and bottle feed she’ll have a problem with you not breast feeding. Just go to her a few times and you’ll start to see the signs just as I did. She set my baby on a broken patient bed, and use instruments of taking temperatures full of someone else’s hair. My mom also noticed the huge chunk of hair connected to it, I almost puked. Waited for more than 2 hours because she overbooks appointments and she already has too many patients and is taking more because money talks. She’s the only doctor and she only wants to spend but 5 minutes in your room after making you wait for more than 1-2 hours. I highly recommend Dr. Cook from Levine Children’s center. That is my current pediatrician for my baby and I loved going there.

My daughters first and only peditrician. My daughter never felt comfortable with any other dr or staff. The wait might be long...or whatever u see you see. But I seen an amazing, caring, relatable Dr...that is rare!! Thank you Dr Lubega!!!!

Dr. Lubega always goes above and beyond our expectations! I have taken my 4 kids there since birth and always love and appreciate the way we are getting treated. She has always taken such good care of my children. She is knowledgeable, respectful, friendly, down to earth, tells you how it is and has a great bedside manner.

My child was seen today one week ago and needs antibiotics per Dr. Lubega after finding she had a swollen/inflamed tonsil and sore throat. Dr. Lubega herself showed me the tonsil. She also needs albuterol for her nebulizer for a cough she has had 3 weeks. Dr. Lubega never documented any of this so as of today, one week later, She denied seeing her tonsil and is refusing to treat a possible infection. My child is being left untreated. PLEASE DON'T BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!! She is only after money.

The wait is always extremely long. The staff seems uniformed and unhelpful. They lose documents, and never seem to have an form of organization. Dr. Lubega doesn't listen and comes up with solutions to things that aren't even problems. Example she prescribed albuterol for diarrhea and said my child has breathing problems. And that was the cause of the diarrhea.

I love how you go there and the staff is super friendly; the doctor is amazing, she knows how to approach the kids and she makes sure parents understand what's going on

Hour and a half to two hour wait. Then have to wait in the back for another thirty to forty five minutes. Doctor comes in and rushes. Very disrespectful and rude. Staff member lied and said i didn't persuade my child to get her temperature taken. Will not be taking my daughter back.

The staff is young but they have knowledge on what they do. Dr. Lubega sometimes runs a little bit late but that's ok because she is an amazing doctor. The wait sometimes exceeds the 30 mins but when she's in the room, she checks the patient very well, and makes sure you understand what's going on and what you need to do. I haven't found a doctor who gives out their cellphone number for the parents to call with any concerns, Dr. Lubega does. She has been my daughter's doctor since she was born.

The doctor herself is decent, but the staff is uninformative. You will ALWAYS wait 1 HOUR OR MORE to see Dr. Lubega herself, which is completely unacceptable. They also book extra unneeded appointments for the sake of billing. For example, if you have a Well Check they will have you come in thinking that you are doing the exam but then will just do bloodwork and tell you that you have to come back again. DON'T FEEL TRAPPED BECAUSE THEY TAKE MEDICAID! Others do too so go look!
