Unprofessional
I saw dr lauterbach for several years , during one session she was filled with judgement. She called back to apologize, you build a trusting relationship and I wanted to move on. Big mistake. During my most recent session she challenged my memory recall, and my childhood experience. When I asked her to stop, she couldn’t control herself. I hung up mid virtual session. It’s terrible to wonder if I’ll find someone new in time for my refills. What a mess.

I’ve been seeing Dr Lauterbach for about 7 years for depression and anxiety. Sometimes I think maybe I don’t need this but when those difficult phases hit and I’m so glad she’s there for me. I recently had a baby and it was very reassuring during my pregnancy to know that when postpartum hit, I had someone who understands me.

I wouldn't trust her. After a few sessions, it was really obvious her agenda was only to make me part of some sort of research she's doing. Totally unethical. She's really pushy and manipulative. Fake nice in a sociopathic kind of way. Doesn't have the patient's actual interest at heart- mostly interested in her career. Avoid. I'm looking into switching providers. Doesn't care what you need or want and tries to convince you that she knows you better than you know yourself.
