Dr Gonzalez is still very new to pediatric gastroenterology. Don’t let your child be a “guinea pig” like mine has been. Her lack of communication and experience has led to my child’s condition worsening, and her bedside manner is lacking as well. She does not seem to grasp the gravity of being told your child has a lifelong autoimmune disorder that will affect his wellbeing forever. She doesn’t respond to my serious questions for a week or more, impacting my child’s health. She claims that I’m “hard to reach” when I have no voicemails or missed calls from her. I’m so frustrated and disappointed. And yes, they do have the correct phone number for me.
