At first Dr Kontos seemed great, young, knowledgeable, caring. Until there was an actual concern and medical emergency. After 4 months of physical therapy for slipped discs in my back I wasn't improving and severely worsening. I was referred out to a sports medicine specialist who was unresponsive. I stayed in contact with Dr Kontos office pleading for any other referral to any other specialist, pain management etc..after 2 months of no solutions or help, I started taking ambulance rides to the hospital for medical attention as the pain had become unbearable. After 2 trips to the er I received emergency back surgery. Upon being discharged from hospital I was told to follow up with primary. 5 days post op, I was told that the only thing for pain I could be given was to drink sleepy time tea. I was treated like I was drug seeking and left in agony in the most inhumane way, through the whole experience, when all I wanted was to get back to work being self employed.

She spends time with you and seems to be very knowledgeable and caring. I went to the same Dr for over 30 years and she retired so it will take time to get use to Dr Kontos but I believe we will be fine.

Dismissive. If someone is taking time out of their schedule and coming to you with concerns, it's not trivial. Completely dismissed the list of symptoms in favor of blaming weight and suggesting a nutritionist. Made no attempt to look at the issue wholistically or understanding the history. Waste of time and money, and insulting. See someone who actually does their job.
