I was referred to Maria in 2020 and I am so glad I was. I wish I had actually seen her a long time ago as she has given me balance and a positive outlook in life. She is always very thorough with me and remembers a lot, which impressed me too. It shows she is really caring and supportive and has my best interests at heart. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Matos has treated our adult son with caring and skill. She has been incredibly responsive and available, responding to many emails, helping with a lengthy medication PA, and ultimately improving his condition. She has discussions with other providers and makes helpful referrals. In brief, Dr. Matos goes far above and beyond the expected to make sure our son is on the right track. We are grateful to her.

We started seeing Dr Matos in Jan for my 7 year old child’s ADHD in order to start medication management. She was very attentive to my concerns and was great on collaborating with a gentle start to introducing stimulants. I love being able to update and continue to titrate his medications via e-mail or text message and responses have been quick and in a timely manner (at least 24 hours during the week) I couldn’t be happier with our choice for a psychiatrist.

Dr Matos is incredibly friendly and listens attentively to what you need. I value her guidance greatly and always feel comfortable at her practice. She goes out of her way to help me navigate affordable medication/treatment plans that work with my insurance.

Doctor matos is fantastic. I’m disappointed I cannot see her again. When it comes to caring about her patients she takes the cake. Most doctors in the past that I have seen write a script and send me on my way. I was glad to find someone who actually would sit down and listen to me, then provide solutions to what I was going through other than pharmacology related. She always gave me cookies, crackers, and gummy snacks when I came in. Child or adult she actually cares about her patients.

Dr. Matos sees both of our kids, one of whom has a rare neurological disease. She's a true partner in their care. She solicits our feedback as parents, is never dismissive, and has a fantastic relationship with our kiddos, who adore her. She is very responsive with sudden issues. I've already recommended her to several of our friends. She's been methodical with medications, never pushy. She's made a huge difference in our lives and I'm not sure what we would have done without her wonderful care.

Dr. Matos listens and respects me. I've seen many psychiatrists for many years, and Dr. Matos is by far the most responsive to my needs. She works carefully to alleviate my suffering and her goal for my treatment is to have me on as few medications as possible. We work together toward my goal to be happy and healthy. I'm glad Dr. Matos is on my team.

Dr. Matos evaluated and follows the treatment of my child, who in addition to his autism. has rages and out of control behaviors. Dr. Matos developed a very good report with my son. She's diligent in her assessments and treatment. I highly recommend her.

My visits have been perfectly reasonable. I feel she did an accurate job of diagnosis me. She offered me options in regards to how aggressive I wanted my treatment to be. The medication she prescribed fit into my needs and had the desired results. I feel comfortable referring to her. Her accent is very thick, which may be a challenge for some.

I went to her as a second opinion and wow, did I need a third. I was put on about 5 different medications with the promise of next time getting lowered down from them. Never have I had a worse experience with a doctor, and I've seen the worst of them. If I could stop one person from seeing her, I can sleep at night.
And now, I'm still getting people calling me claiming I owe her $100, although I was paying $150 a session. Never once offered a receipt, I paid EVERY visit. Do not see her.
