So disappointing!
Dr. P was very sweet but her office management is a mess. I had an appointment to discuss hormone replacement. Convinced me I needed an exam 1st before discussing options. So I made 2nd appt for the 'pellet' only to find out that would be on a 3rd appt. We were just talking about it, again. I waited 3 weeks for new appt with excitement & put in for half day off work (I'm a teacher). Received message late, the Friday before my Tues appt asking if I had mammogram this yr or was I planning to? (Yes, planning during Xmas break) But Monday right before office closes, I missed their call saying they could not do the pellet insertion WITHOUT a recent mammogram- yet my apt was next afternoon! They had 3 weeks (and 2 earlier appts) to inform me about this policy, but waited less than 24 hours before my long awaited appointment to let me know! The incompetence is mind blowing! I'm just grateful I wasn't there for a pregnancy. Not getting another chance to disappoint me again.

Dr. Maria Pimentel is very articulate, professional and knowledgeable. She has a gentle touch and this is especially important for biopsies etc. I have had bad experiences with some gynos and was so happy to find someone who is gentle in demanor, in exams and in surgery :) . he puts the patient at ease and conciselys explains your condition in layman's terms. I highly recommend her.
