Dr. Maria Vacha, DO

Dr. Vacha didn’t follow up on my labs and blindly refilled a previous prescription without even looking at the new labs. Based on the new bloodwork, I needed a different dosage. The prescription she refilled was for the wrong dosage. If I continued to take this medication at the wrong dosage, I would continue to experience the symptoms that I went to the doctor to alleviate. Not only did I not receive care, I ended up receiving negligent care. Really scary and totally unacceptable.

Maria Vacha is among the least professional physicians I have ever encountered. Not only do I question her integrity, but her decisions and actions are, at times, baseless and incomprehensible. Due to a lack of diligence on her part, I had to go months on end without a diagnosis or treatment for my symptoms.A poor doctor is one who blames the patient for her failures to communicate as a provider; Vacha embodies this characteristic. Her staff struggles with the completion of basic tasks (e.g. reading numbers), and they become impatient and belligerent when you dare to question them. Heaven forbid you have a question about your own healthcare. Her enlarged hubris not only makes her difficult to work with, but downright dangerous. Don't walk away from this physician and her staff...RUN.

Wow, to the person who left the one star review before me for Dr. Vacha - you are spot on! I went in for intermittent severe back pain and told her how debilitating it is and she literally gave me a funny look after I explained everything, told me she had no idea what was wrong with me, LAUGHED at me, and told me I was fine. She completely dismissed my concerns, didn't run any tests or even try to figure out what was wrong beyond feeling my back and doing a few stretches that I told her felt fine and didn't address the pain at all so I'll never go back to her and hope others in pain don't as well.

I see Dr. Maria Vacha somewhat intermittently for medical needs as they arise. She has always been very attentive to my needs and is a 'no nonsense' type of provider in each of my visits, albeit a bit blunt or brash at times. I appreciate her demeanor towards the staff and myself. Moreover, I appreciate her ability to empathize with me as a patient given so many physicians fail to remember that we are the client or customer at the end of the day. Most importantly, she is the best I have ever had - without any doubt I say the foregoing. Thanks, J

She cares. That is not something you can say for all providers. I feel heard, and I truly believe she has my best HEALTH interests always at the forefront. She takes time to listen to all I have to say. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Vacha is a very honest and sincere provider. I cannot recommend her enough. Your problems become her problems, and she will work with you to find a solution. Plenty of doctors lose sight of what it really means to be a healthcare provider, but Dr. Vacha gets it right.

Dr. Vacha has been great for me. She is honest and willing to give realistic plans for your help. If you are interested in working towards your health she will be great for you.

She will dismiss your pain, not willing to prescribe pain meds. I am not an addict, nor on a "list". I am suffering in pain due to a pinched nerve in the neck, and she even stated she didn't have a clue what was wrong initially. A physician should never say they don't know. She showed me she doesn't care, was very short, not personable, and odd. I have taken this personal as the pain is so severe, and offended as if I was a problem pill popping patient. DO NOT GO TO HER IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING PAIN! NOT CONFIDENT IN HER ABILITIES.
