Dr. Maria Viqar-Syed, MD

I was referred to her colleague in the same office. After wearing a heart monitor for a week it was decided I needed a cardiac ablation and was referred to Dr. Viqar-Syed. This doctor told me these procedures were scheduled 2 months out and walked out of the room. She spoke no more than 10 words. I left and a week later her scheduler called to schedule this procedure I had no information about. The procedure was performed and this doctor never came by to see me, before or after. 2 weeks after the procedure I had a follow up appointment. I waited over 40 minutes in the waiting room but I was never called. I finally left. I understand doctors get delayed but 40 minutes? My time is as important as any doctors. I will find a different cardiologist. The staff, aside from the lady behind the receptionist window are rude.

Dr Viqar goes above and beyond! I have had the best personal care and experiences with her. I highly recommend Dr. Viqar!

I am grateful to have Dr. Maria Viqar as my elwctrophysiologist. She has saved my life! She understands my heart. She pays attention to what I am trying to say. I trust her completely as my heart doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Viqar for about 2 years now, and I couldn't be more pleased. If you are looking for a cardiologist you need look no further,Dr. Viqar Maria is, in my estimation, the BEST cardiologist. Thoughtful, Intuitive, Professional and Kind.Her staff is also very nice, and they have been very easy to deal with. If I had to recommended my family or a friend to Cardiologist it would definitely be Dr. Viqar.

Had scheduled in advance two appointments early last year that she didn't bother to show up for and then she lied to ER doctors when I was admitted in the hospital about her level of care for me and was very unprofessional about it. I have two wonderful doctors who actually care for my well being, will actually return phone calls when I have a question and are taking excellent care of me now. She is a diva, so I suggest you seek better care while you can.

Poor at best. Referred to her 8 months back. Initial visit she requested I have a CPAP test. After 6 months of Doctor scheduling, testing and conclusions, I schedule a follow up to identify next step. After 20 min of filling forms, sent to obscure room which her nurse gave me an EKG. After 50 more minutes I left, this after two other doctors wanted to use the room and Dr. Viqar never showed.
